Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: The Final Warning

Rahim and Karim stood silently inside the ancient temple. The bright blue light that had filled the room a few moments ago was now soft and calm.

For a while, neither of them spoke.

Karim finally broke the silence.

"Rahim… everything is changing so fast," he said quietly.

Rahim looked at the glowing crystal in his hand.

"Yes," he replied. "This is no longer just an adventure. This is something much bigger."

Karim nodded slowly.

"We are part of something important now."

Rahim took a deep breath.

"Yes. And we cannot make any mistake."

They started looking around the temple again.

The walls were glowing softly, and the ancient drawings were clearly visible now.

Karim walked closer to one wall.

"These drawings… they are telling a story," he said.

Rahim joined him.

"Yes. Let's understand it."

They carefully observed the images.

One drawing showed people building a large city in the mountains.

Another showed the creation of the crystal.

Karim said, "So the crystal was made by them."

Rahim nodded.

"Yes. And not just as a tool… but as protection."

They moved to another part of the wall.

This time, the drawings looked darker.

Karim said, "This part looks like a warning."

Rahim read the symbols slowly.

"It says… 'Power without wisdom will bring destruction.'"

Karim became serious.

"That means… if someone uses the crystal for greed, everything can be destroyed."

Rahim nodded.

"Yes. And that is exactly what Mr. Roy wants."

Karim looked worried.

"He will not stop."

Rahim said firmly, "Then we must stop him."

At that moment, the crystal in Rahim's hand started glowing again.

Karim looked surprised.

"It's reacting again!"

A thin beam of light came out from the crystal and moved across the floor.

It stopped near a hidden corner of the temple.

Rahim said, "It is guiding us."

Karim nodded.

"Let's follow it."

They walked toward the light.

As they reached the corner, a part of the wall slowly opened.

Inside, there was a hidden chamber.

Both boys stepped inside carefully.

The room was different from the rest of the temple.

In the center, there was a large stone structure with glowing symbols.

It looked powerful and ancient.

Karim said, "What is this place?"

Rahim said, "I think this is the heart of the city."

The crystal suddenly shined brighter.

The structure became active.

Soft light moved across it.

Then, a deep voice echoed in the room.

"New guardians… detected."

Karim stepped back in shock.

"Rahim… did you hear that?"

Rahim nodded.

"Yes…"

The voice continued.

"The crystal has chosen its protectors."

Karim looked at Rahim.

"That means… us?"

Rahim said slowly, "Yes. I think we are the new guardians."

The voice spoke again.

"Protect the city. Protect the knowledge. Do not let greed take control."

Karim said quietly, "This is a big responsibility."

Rahim held the crystal tightly.

"Yes. And we must not fail."

Suddenly—

A loud crash echoed from the main temple hall.

Both boys turned quickly.

Karim said, "That must be him!"

Rahim said, "Come on!"

They ran out of the chamber.

When they reached the main hall, they saw something even worse.

Mr. Roy was standing there again.

But this time, he was not alone.

Two strong men were with him.

Karim whispered, "Now he has help…"

Rahim stepped forward bravely.

Mr. Roy smiled.

"You really thought I would give up?" he said.

Rahim said firmly, "You should stop. This place is not for you."

Mr. Roy laughed.

"This place belongs to anyone strong enough to take it."

One of his men stepped forward.

"Give us the crystal," he said in a rough voice.

Karim stepped back.

Rahim did not move.

"No," Rahim said clearly.

Mr. Roy's face became serious.

"You are making a very big mistake."

Rahim replied, "No. You are."

Suddenly, the crystal began to glow very brightly.

The entire temple started shaking again.

Karim shouted, "Rahim!"

Rahim held the crystal tightly.

The light spread across the floor and walls.

The symbols started glowing.

A powerful energy filled the room.

Mr. Roy and his men tried to move forward.

But the light pushed them back.

They could not come closer.

Mr. Roy shouted angrily, "Stop this!"

But nothing changed.

The temple was protecting Rahim and Karim.

Karim said, "The city is helping us!"

Rahim nodded.

"Yes. It knows the truth."

The light grew stronger.

Mr. Roy covered his eyes.

He could not move forward anymore.

Finally, he stepped back.

His face was full of anger.

"This is not the end," he said.

"I will come back. And next time, I will not fail."

He signaled his men.

They quickly left the temple.

The light slowly faded.

The temple became calm again.

Karim sat down, breathing heavily.

"That was… intense," he said.

Rahim nodded.

"Yes. But now everything is clear."

Karim looked at him.

"The final battle is coming, right?"

Rahim looked at the crystal.

"Yes."

Karim stood up.

"Then we must be ready."

Rahim smiled slightly.

"We will protect this city. No matter what."

The two friends stood together in the ancient temple.

The mystery had brought them this far.

Now, only one step remained—

The final battle...
