Another image appeared this time, it was her kingdom burning.

Another followed; her throne empty.
'You're afraid of becoming powerless.'
The next image was Lilith herself standing alone in an endless black world.
'And most of all, you're afraid that without your power, you are nothing.'
Something inside Lilith snapped. She finally felt anger. She grabbed the false Lilith by the throat. The woman looked surprised.
Lilith couldn't breathe, speak or even use Aether but she could still fight. She drove her forehead into the woman's face.
The false Lilith recoiled from hit but lilith struck again without caring. The hands holding her weakened. She twisted violently and tore herself free, then she swam.
She didn't know where she was going buy simply moved. Her lungs felt as though they were being ripped apart and her body demanded air, but Lilith kept swimming. The false Lilith appeared beside her.
'Where are you going?'
