The atmosphere changed instantly. Everyone's eyes shifted towards Jasmine, some wide with shock, others narrowing with suspicion.
Suddenly, a police officer stepped forward, his expression serious which proved that he had heard the conversation.
"Miss Jasmine, you will have to come with us for interrogation. Every detail about your argument with William could be important. Please cooperate fully."
Jasmine nodded silently, swallowing the lump in her throat. She glanced around her; all her friends had turned against her all believing her as guilty.
Then she followed the police officer.
