"Why do I have such a terrible life…?" Finn murmured under his breath as he walked toward his chambers. "As if my life on Earth wasn't bad enough already."
He could feel the weight of the servants' gazes trailing behind him. Though none of them dared to speak, he didn't need words to know what they were thinking.
Fine, it's one thing to be praised for having a good little brother between my legs… but I should at least have the right to choose who I sleep with not be forced and passed around like some tool, Finn thought bitterly.
Eventually, he found himself standing before a quiet river. The gentle sounds of birds chirping and the gentle wind blowing over the water.
"Huh…?" he muttered, glancing around in confusion. "How did I even get here?"
His gaze dropped to his reflection in the water.
"I didn't even know a place like this existed in the palace…" he added, his voice softening. A faint smile tugged at his lips. "It's… beautiful."
