Chapter 25 - Epilogue: The Rainy Beginning

Almost a year had passed since Aryan left for his new university.

Life had changed in many ways.

Riya had continued her studies in the same college, but the campus often felt quieter without Aryan.

Still, the memories they had created together stayed alive in her heart.

Every now and then, she opened the small journal Aryan had given her.

Page after page was filled with her thoughts, memories, and small moments from her life.

It felt like she was still sharing her days with him.

Meanwhile, Aryan was working hard at his new university.

The campus was big and full of opportunities.

But even with all the new experiences, he never forgot the small college where everything had begun.

One evening during his semester break, Aryan decided to visit the city again.

As he walked through the familiar streets, memories began returning to him.

Finally he reached the old college campus.

The place looked almost the same.

Students were walking around, laughing and talking just like before.

Aryan slowly walked toward the garden.

And there she was.

Riya was sitting on the same bench where they had spent so many afternoons talking.

When she looked up and saw him, her eyes widened in surprise.

"Aryan?"

Aryan smiled.

"Hi."

For a moment, neither of them moved.

Then Riya stood up and walked toward him.

"I didn't know you were coming today," she said.

"I wanted to surprise you," Aryan replied.

They both sat on the bench again.

Just like old times.

Suddenly the sky grew darker.

Riya looked up and laughed.

"It's going to rain."

Aryan looked at the sky and smiled.

"Looks like rain still follows our story."

Within seconds, soft raindrops began falling.

Students nearby started running toward the buildings.

But Riya and Aryan stayed where they were.

The rain reminded them of the day they first met.

Aryan looked at her and said softly,

"You know… if it hadn't rained that day, our story might have never started."

Riya smiled.

"Then I guess we should thank the rain."

Aryan nodded.

"Yes."

Because sometimes the smallest moments change everything.

A rainy afternoon.

A simple meeting.

A friendship that grows into something deeper.

For Riya and Aryan, that rainy day had started a story that neither of them would ever forget.

And maybe…

Just maybe…

Their story was only getting started.
