The Blue Planet
Gravity fluctuations compressed into a single point, giving birth to a tiny mass of gravity. In time, it erupted in an explosion so immense that humanity could never comprehend its scale. In an instant, the blast expanded, triggering cosmic inflation and giving birth to time and space.
Thus, the universe came into existence.
The primordial universe was filled with violent explosions. It was an age of colossal chain reactions caused by the annihilation of matter and antimatter. Had antimatter remained instead of matter, the universe would have become a world entirely different from the one we know today.
Instead, matter survived the annihilation, and eventually the universe became filled with it.
As the chaos of the explosions subsided, the universe transformed into a vast realm of gas and dust. Within it, fluctuations in gravity emerged once more. Dust and gas gathered around these disturbances until the first stars were born.
Billions, tens of billions, and hundreds of billions of years passed. The universe became filled with stars and interstellar matter, evolving into a cosmos of relatively low entropy.
Within this universe, a single planet was born.
Its surface was blue, overflowing with mineral-rich oceans.
At first, it was nothing more than a mass of rock. Billions of years earlier, however, molten magma had surged across its surface. Rain fell endlessly upon it, cooling the magma and giving birth to continents and seas.
Eventually, single-celled organisms arose naturally.
These prokaryotic lifeforms, born from organic and inorganic matter, were meant to become the ancestors of all future life.
But the course of evolution was dramatically altered.
It happened in the primordial ocean where prokaryotes were expected to flourish.
The prokaryotic organisms were suddenly preyed upon by newly emerged Black-Core Organisms, turning the cradle of life into a black sea.
Over hundreds of millions of years, the black cells evolved. They transformed into aggressive, predatory creatures resembling fish and eventually developed the ability to absorb and amplify other lifeforms.
Hundreds of millions of years later, volcanic activity ceased, and the land became covered in lush vegetation. The black organisms expanded onto the surface. Through rapid mutation and accelerated evolution, they overturned the natural course of civilization. In less than one hundred million years, they established a society where only the strong survived while the weak were absorbed.
Within less than a billion years after their birth, they had already reached the stars.
This species rejected the existence and prosperity of all other civilizations. It repeated destruction and predation wherever it went. They worshipped their own God, and knew neither coexistence nor even the concept of rule. They brought only destruction and ruin to the universe and to every civilization they encountered.
Researchers from countless alien civilizations have reached the same conclusion. Although they have investigated this species' homeworld extensively, no one has been able to explain why such an overwhelmingly aggressive lifeform evolved there.
Their way of thinking differs fundamentally from that of every other known species. Destruction and predation dominate every aspect of their behavior. Even when compared with all intelligent and primitive life throughout the universe, such a mindset is extraordinarily rare.
Religious scholars point to an even greater mystery—the existence of the God they worship.
According to their beliefs, this deity created their species. Such creator gods are not unknown among advanced civilizations across the cosmos. Yet their god is unique.
It is said to wage an eternal war against all other gods.
In their own language, these deities are known as the Dark Core.
From these findings, scientists and theologians alike concluded that the species practices a form of faith closely resembling devil worship.
Every member of their civilization, from the highest ranks to the lowliest individual, believes without question that these gods truly exist.
