The Beast was the negative opposite of all that the Mother Tree was.
Where she nurtured life, it yearned to unmake it. It was an eldritch entity with an unknowable, bottomless hunger; the very existence of life only sharpened its desire for destruction.
The war between the Mother Tree's children and the Beast raged across eons beyond imagination. Near its later stages, the children of the first pantheon were themselves blessed with offspring, and new entities across other universes emerged, born purely from the development of concepts.
Yet the Beast's hunger did not wane.
Fearing for her children, the Mother Tree resolved to sacrifice herself to end the Beast once and for all. But her children felt her intention and could not accept it.
Instead, Balthazar sought another path. The High God of order and chaos turned his gaze toward the mortal realms and requested the aid of a single being—a mortal who had long surpassed and transcended every mortal restraint and limitation.
He was known as the forbidden sorcerer, Salazar.
Salazar heard the gods' plea and recognized the true scale of the threat.
In that moment, among gods and monsters, a new plan began to take shape.
Balthazar: "For a mortal, your knowledge is vast. I shall get to the point. Protect and mentor my kin and help us seal this monstrosity for eternity, and in turn your wanted status will be absolved. Your existence will be silenced to all gods, so that you may study your arts of arcane magic in peace."
Salazar: "Very well, Balthazar. Shall we make it official?"
A pact was then made between the two, and they set off to help finish the war.
As Salazar and Balthazar arrived, Salazar explained the plan. It was revealed that the ritual would require four parts. Three gods would have to act as distractions so that Salazar could cast an empowered version of his Seal of the Forgotten. To accomplish this, the three gods would have to sacrifice themselves to fuel the spell.
While Salazar cast the seal, Balthazar would have to use the beast's chaotic nature to make its hunger backfire on itself. Once the spell was complete, the beast would be forced to devour itself for all eternity.
Garmathon began the encounter by creating a domain called Inversion of Heaven's Isolation to distract the monstrosity, though he could tell it would only last for so long. Tenzion began casting an infinite time loop, while Diana and Shelia continuously healed the axioms of their individual concepts to keep them from being devoured.
But the unexpected happened.
The god of Death Azreal betrayed them, stabbing Balthazar's wife, Diana, in the back and draining her essence. Enraged by his brother's treachery, Garmathon lunged toward Azreal, and the two traded blows that tore the very fabric of reality itself.
To make sure the plan did not fail, Salazar redirected Diana's essence into the seal to prevent Azreal from growing in power. Because Garmathon was focused entirely on Azreal, the beast began breaking free of its trap. As it finally tore itself loose, Azreal slew both Garmathon and Tenzion.
Salazar knew they had never been meant to be the original sacrifices, but with this sudden turn of events he had no choice but to redirect their essences into the seal as well. Salazar and Balthazar completed their preparations and successfully sealed the beast away—but at a terrible cost.
Balthazar dashed toward Azreal.
"How could you? Your own brothers and sisters… Traitooooooooor!"
Balthazar: "You shall pay. Ultimate Attack: The Wrath Spiral – Equilibrium's End!"
Azreal countered the ability by activating his pool of eternal dread this attack was made of chains of conceptual dread and entropy ensnared Balthazar dragging him down to the fundamental core aspects of his being but not before Balthazar could implement his part of the plan by inverting the beast's chaotic nature and turning its hunger against itself. At that exact moment Salazar cast the seal of the forgotten successfully sealing the eldritch horror know as the beast. Later Azreal was subdued by the mother and banished to the underworld for all eternity. Balthazar son had already been born a being that would later become known as Lazuki the dragon father creator of all dragons.
