"I don't know," Autumn said.
"Come on," Evan said.
"It'll be fun."
She looked uncertain.
Crowds.
More noise.
More people.
Then she felt Luca step slightly closer beside her.
"You don't have to," he said quietly.
Evan scoffed.
"Don't scare her off."
"I'm not."
Autumn looked between them.
The tension was obvious.
Finally she said,
"I think I'm good with just the bonfire."
Evan sighed dramatically.
"Your loss."
But Luca smiled slightly.
