Jay POV:
When I woke up, I found Keifer lying next to me, but he wasn't sleeping.
He was awake and texting someone. He was smiling while messaging.
"Keif," I said.
He quickly locked his phone and looked at me.
"Y-you're awak... ah... g-good morning," he stuttered. Before I could say anything, he went to the bathroom to freshen up.
I quickly picked up his phone and typed the password.
Huh... incorrect.
His password had been the same for the past few years... the day we met.
But now it was showing incorrect.
Soon, he came out of the bathroom wearing only a towel.
"Keif, what's your password?" I asked.
He removed his towel and started wearing his clothes.
"Babe, I'll tell you later. First, get ready. We have to go to the university for our admission," he said.
I narrowed my eyes but nodded.
After getting ready, I went downstairs and saw Keifer again typing something on his phone while everyone was eating breakfast.
As I walked over, everyone greeted me, and I greeted them back.
I tried to peek at his phone, but he quickly locked it and kept it aside.
Huh...
"Good morning, Ate," Kegain said and kissed my cheek.
"Ready for school?" I asked.
He nodded.
"I don't want to go... today is the math test," he said, pouting.
"No, Kegain. You have to go. I taught you everything," I said.
He nodded.
We all ate breakfast, dropped Kegain off at school, and then headed toward the university.
"Keif, what's so important on your phone? Who are you chatting with?" I asked.
"It's nothing, baby. Just friends," he said.
I raised an eyebrow.
He held my hand and kissed the back of it.
We reached the university, and he parked the car.
I held Keifer's arm and looked around.
"It's so big," Keifer whispered.
I nodded.
We went to the admission counter and filled out the forms.
They said they would inform us soon.
As we were about to leave, I spotted Ella, Aries, Percy, and Yuri.
We walked toward them.
"Hey," I said.
They all looked at us.
"You guys are all here?" I asked.
"Yeah. We're here for admission. Keifer suggested this university. He said you both were going to take admission here," Aries said.
I nodded.
We talked for a moment, then they left for the admission counter, and Keifer and I headed back home.
As we were driving, I spotted a beautiful wedding showroom filled with bridal gowns and groom suits.
"Keif... stop the car," I said.
He stopped the car.
"What happened?" he asked.
"Babe, let's go there. I think it's new," I said.
He nodded, and we walked toward the showroom.
"Hello, po," I said.
"Hello, po," the staff greeted us.
"Is this a new showroom?" I asked.
They nodded.
"Yes, we opened two months ago," one of the staff members said.
"Can you show me your bridal collection? Actually, we're getting married in one month," I said.
They smiled and nodded.
"Congratulations, ma'am and sir. Please come this way," they said.
Keifer and I followed the staff.
One female staff member started showing me the bridal gowns.
"Wow, Keif... their collection is so good. I think we should shop here," I said.
He nodded.
"Okay."
"Okay, po. I love your collection. We'll come back soon with our family," I said.
She nodded.
"Anytime, ma'am."
Then we both left.
We sat in the car, and after a few minutes, he stopped the car and got out.
I looked at him, confused.
Then I saw him walking toward an ice cream shop.
I smiled.
Soon, he came back holding a cup of ice cream.
He sat in the car.
"Hehe, thank you," I said and was about to take the ice cream, but he pulled it away.
"What? It's mine," he said.
I looked at him with wide eyes.
He laughed and handed me the ice cream.
"Just kidding, baby. It's yours, my cupcake," he said and kissed my cheek.
"Shut up," I said, blushing.
We laughed and drove back home.
As we reached home, we heard crying voices.
We walked into the living room and saw Kerein and Kaira crying while Mom was trying to calm them down.
"Shh... shh... Mama is here," she said.
Keifer walked over to Mom and scooped Kaira into his arms.
As soon as Kaira looked at Keifer, she stopped crying and kept staring at him.
"You missed Kuya, didn't you?" Keifer said.
She hummed.
"Oh, Kerein, look. Your Kuya only loves Kaira, not you," I teased as I scooped him up.
He looked at me, then at Keifer, then at Kaira in his arms.
He made a crying face and burst into tears.
"Oh no... Jay, why would you say that? I love both of them," Keifer said and handed Kaira back to Mom, who was just laughing.
He scooped Kerein into his arms and kissed his cheeks.
"See, baby? Kuya loves you too. I love both of you equally, I swear," Keifer said.
Kerein looked at his face, then looked away.
"He's mad at you," I said.
Keifer looked at Mom with a sad face.
"Ma, how can I make up with him?" he asked.
"You have to keep him with you the whole day and play with him," Mom said.
Keifer nodded.
"I'm sorry, Kaira, but Kerein is mad at me, so I have to make up with him. You play with Ate, okay?" he said and kissed her head.
Then he went upstairs with Kerein.
I sat on the couch and held Kaira.
"Mom, you know what happened?" I said and told her about the university and the showroom.
"Jay, we'll go shopping after one week," Mom said.
I nodded.
We both talked and laughed.
Sometimes Kaira also laughed with us as if she understood what we were talking about.
Then we started gossiping about Dad and Keifer and laughed.
"Ahh," Kaira made a sound.
I looked at her, and she started kicking her legs and waving her hands in the air.
"Oh, you don't like that we're gossiping about your brother and Papa?" Mom said.
She hummed.
We both laughed.
I kissed her cheeks.
"You're so cute," I said.
Just then, Keifer came downstairs.
"I made up with him. See? He's smiling now and playing with me," Keifer said.
I nodded.
He sat beside Mom and rested his head on her shoulder.
I know he sometimes misses Mom because she's busy all day with the babies. He didn't get a mother's love since he was ten, and now that she's finally here, she also has his younger siblings to take care of.
Mom caressed his hair.
Then he looked at me.
I smiled.
He smiled back.
I also sat beside Mom and rested my head on her shoulder.
She started caressing my hair too.
While Keifer and I were both holding the babies in our arms.
Just then, the door opened, and Dad walked in.
"Huh? What's this? Did you guys forget me?" he said dramatically.
We laughed.
He sat beside me and wrapped his arm around us.
"Ahhh! You all betrayed me!" Kegain shouted, throwing his bag onto the couch before sitting beside Keifer.
Keifer wrapped one arm around Kegain.
"Now this is our complete family," Mom said.
We all stayed like that for fifteen minutes before everyone got busy with their own work.
Keifer and I went to Mom's room and laid Kerein and Kaira down in their cribs.
They soon fell asleep.
Kegain was downstairs talking with Mom and Dad.
Just then, Keifer scooped me up and carried me to our room.
He laid me down on the bed and rested his head on my chest.
"I'm your baby, Mommy," he said.
I chuckled and nodded.
"So, aren't you going to feed your baby?" he asked.
I sighed and lifted my T-shirt...
