The way Nhel dropped like he had gone lifeless made Anisha highly alert.
"Get me out of here," she said, struggling to break the force that held her still.
Her wails paused.
Nhel was getting back up.
"Hmm, nice. He's fighting the fire," Mirabella, who stood beside Anisha watching like it was a form of interesting show, said.
Anisha noticed something. His clothes had not burned up. She wondered how.
Not like she wanted his clothes to burn out.
She watched Nhel fall back on one knee, obviously due to not being able to hold on much longer.
Anisha turned frantically in search of the Demon-fairy King but couldn't find him.
"Make it stop," Anisha pleaded helplessly. She wondered when it would end.
"I can't," Mirabella responded.
Nhel continued burning for what felt like an eternity. How would it feel getting burned constantly without it coming to a stop?
That was the worst kind of torture.
The purple flames finally came to a stop. Nhel let out a groan.
