Chapter 201 - Chapter 201: Missed

"The One-Punch Man world? With so many monsters, even if I can't defeat that System holder, farming points here will still be enough for me to break even. Besides, this world doesn't only have monsters. There are also plenty of beautiful women."

A handsome young man stood on a rooftop overlooking the street. He wore a haori, had long, flowing white hair, and carried a simple-looking Japanese sword at his waist. A wicked smile rested on his face, and a mysterious aura surrounded him.

"The previous instance was truly suffocating. It was full of aliens and monsters, with barely any humans to communicate with. Now I've finally arrived in a civilized society."

[Mission issued...]

[Confrontation Mission: Kill another System holder.]

[Reward: 100,000 points and two random Gold-quality items.]

[Penalty: Deduction of 200,000 points.]

"One hundred thousand points and two Gold-quality items? It seems my opponent won't be easy to deal with. But that doesn't matter. I obtained the complete Third Magic in the Type-Moon Universe, granting me infinite energy and an immortal body. In my current state, even if I am no match for the other System holder, I won't lose so easily."

The young man smiled confidently. According to the System's evaluation, he had already stepped halfway into the Fourth Rank. He only needed to complete this mission, obtain the final 100,000 points, and purchase the crucial Soul Sublimation item. At that point, he would be able to fully enter the Fourth Rank.

In truth, the young man's growth had already been extraordinarily fast. He had gone from an ordinary person who had not even reached the First Rank or entered the supernatural world to his current level, where he was close to reaching the Fourth Rank. He could already be considered a genius. His talent and luck were brilliant enough to be called extraordinary.

That was why, even though the bait dropped by the System looked like an obvious trap, the System still took it without hesitation. It had absolute confidence in its Host.

Although this Host had only stepped halfway into the Fourth Rank, his unique nature and powerful immortality meant that, even when facing a true Fourth Rank existence, he might not be able to win, but he definitely would not be killed.

"However, there is no need to rush into battle. I should enjoy myself first. I'll begin by registering as a hero and use my rapidly growing strength to attract the attention of the Blizzard Group. Then, I'll use my charm and power to win over Fubuki, which will bring me into Tatsumaki's sights. After that, I'll win over Tatsumaki as well and enjoy both sisters at once. That would be quite an experience! Hehe!"

"I wonder how far the plot has progressed. Mosquito Girl just appeared, and if she were cleaned up a little, she would be quite beautiful. Oh, and that female esper from the Monster Association also seems very attractive. Hmm, this world has plenty to enjoy."

The young man spoke with a smile. Although the meaning behind his words was incredibly lewd, his voice was exceptionally pleasant, and his eyes were remarkably clear and transparent, making it difficult for anyone to feel disgusted by him.

After speaking, the young man transformed into hundreds of cherry blossom petals that drifted away, and his figure vanished from the rooftop.

Saitama's apartment.

"Please accept me as your disciple, Master!"

"Huh?"

Saitama opened the door and saw a cyborg standing before him, leaving him completely bewildered.

"Please allow me to become your disciple! I want to learn even greater power from you!"

The young cyborg, Genos, spoke sincerely.

"Uh, I can't teach you anything."

Saitama was not lying. His circumstances were extremely unusual and could not be replicated by others. Moreover, he had never been a master before, and teaching someone sounded troublesome, so he did not want to accept Genos at all.

"This is my apprenticeship fee, as well as the rent for moving in!"

When Saitama saw the thick stack of bills, the annoyed expression on his face instantly disappeared and was replaced by an extremely friendly smile. He stepped aside to clear the doorway and said cheerfully,

"Okay! No problem. Welcome, welcome!"

After receiving the money from his new disciple, Genos, Saitama wore a happy smile. He thought about going to the supermarket to buy some good ingredients and inviting Caelus over for dinner. After all, Caelus had treated him before, and now that he was "rich," he should return the favor.

It would also be a good opportunity to introduce his newly accepted disciple.

When Caelus and Cyrene entered Saitama's apartment, they saw the young cyborg who had tried to self-destruct earlier.

"Hey, Caelus. This is my new disciple, Genos."

"Greetings to both of you!"

Genos stood straight and bowed respectfully. Although the two of them appeared just as ordinary as his master according to his scans, anyone who could be friends with his master was definitely not an ordinary person. He simply could not perceive their strength yet.

Perhaps once they became more familiar with one another, he could use his relationship with his master to ask these two for guidance and learn something from them.

"Hello."

During dinner, Saitama spoke while eating. He once again told Genos that he truly had nothing to teach him. All the strength he possessed had been obtained through his own training and could not be taught to someone else.

However, Genos remained stubborn. He believed that his current sincerity was not enough, or that he could not learn the real secret immediately after becoming a disciple. He still refused to believe Saitama.

Saitama could only sigh helplessly.

While the four of them were enjoying dinner, Caelus heard a sharp whistling sound outside. A living creature was rapidly approaching, seemingly intending to smash through the wall beside the window and leap inside.

He looked at the food on the table. Such delicious food could not be allowed to go to waste. If he allowed the intruder to break in, the meal would be ruined.

Outside, Kamakyuri opened his mandibles and prepared to tear through the wall, intending to display his power and intimidate the people inside. He wanted to quickly complete Dr. Genus's mission and capture the man who had defeated Mosquito Girl.

Suddenly, he heard a sound resembling the surface of water rapidly freezing over.

Then, his consciousness vanished.

Outside, his body had become a transparent ice sculpture suspended in midair. After remaining there quietly for a second, the ice sculpture shattered into countless fragments and fell to the ground.

The monsters observing from a distance broke out in a cold sweat.

"You've got to be kidding! Kamakyuri was killed instantly! Beast King, did you see what happened?"

"Hmph! He was simply too weak and died on his own! How could mere psychic powers resist a powerful body modified by Dr. Genus? It is simply unfortunate that the people inside do not know what is good for them. Now that it is my turn, I doubt their bodies will remain intact. I only hope Dr. Genus will not be too displeased."

Beast King lunged toward the apartment at a speed far greater than Kamakyuri's, only to be frozen into an ice sculpture in an instant and shattered just like him.

Inside the apartment, Caelus put down his chopsticks.

"What's wrong? Is there something wrong with the ingredients I bought?"

Saitama asked.

"It's nothing. I simply remembered that there are a few things I need to take care of. Sorry, but we'll be leaving first. Let's have dinner together again sometime, Saitama."

Caelus and Cyrene walked out of the apartment. As they watched the monsters fleeing into the distance, Caelus spoke.

"Dr. Genus, the House of Evolution... Let me see what kind of memories this genius scientist from an idealistic world possesses."

Since the other party had extended such a "warm" invitation several times, Caelus decided to see what remarkable achievements this doctor had accomplished.
