Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Conqueror's Haki

Raiden Ei, sensing the aura she had just unleashed, opened the system panel with some uncertainty.

energy conversion system

Initial Panel:

Energy: 0

Raiden Shogun

Age: 0

Physique: 6 + (50000)

Armament Haki: 0 + (100)

Observation Haki: 0 + (100)

Conqueror's Haki: 1 + (10000)

Backpack: Kusanagi no Inabikari

Looking at the Conqueror's Haki section, Raiden Ei confirmed that it was Conqueror's Haki.

Conqueror's Haki in One Piece is a king's aptitude. Those with Conqueror's Haki can intimidate, deter, and knock out enemies with their'spirit' without even making a move. They can also cause opponents much weaker than themselves to faint, in addition to many other practical uses.

Raiden Ei's lips curved slightly in happiness: "It's that easy to awaken Conqueror's Haki! It seems Armament Haki and Observation Haki also need to be cultivated; I can't rely solely on the system."

She tried to replicate the feeling of awakening Conqueror's Haki again, to see if she could practice it. After several unsuccessful attempts, she gave up. Anyway, she had already awakened it, so a day or two wouldn't make much difference.

Raiden Ei looked at the island, which was stirring again, and then at the stars in the sky. She felt no sleepiness at all. Checking her Elemental Power, she found that the Elemental Power she had used up had not recovered.

Only now did she realize that the Elemental Power she had used today hadn't recovered, and she didn't sense any Elemental Power around her. So, once her Elemental Power was used up, was it just gone?

In Raiden Ei's memory, there was nothing that could restore Elemental Power without Elemental Power itself. She checked the Elemental Power in her body again, comparing it to the amount needed to use Musou no Hitotachi once according to her memories. The result was that it wasn't even enough for Raiden Shogun (Genshin Impact) to use Musou no Hitotachi once.

Raiden Ei sighed, worried about running out of energy in the future: "Alas, I'll have to avoid using Elemental Power if possible in the future, but eventually, it will run out. I need to think of a solution."

"If there's no way to restore Elemental Power, I'll go to Sky Island to find the Goro Goro no Mi. It's a Logia-type, so it should be somewhat useful, I hope Enel hasn't gone to the moon yet."

On her first night in this world, Raiden Ei didn't know if she was insomniac or if it was because Raiden Shogun was a puppet and didn't need sleep at all. She ended up watching the stars from a tree all night.

...

The next day, as dawn broke, Raiden Ei woke up early and practiced Raiden Ei's martial arts under the big tree. Although her memories were vivid and she knew how to use these martial arts in combat, she was ultimately not Raiden Ei's Raiden Shogun.

When the sunlight shone on Raiden Ei, she stopped practicing, wiped the sweat from her forehead, put her kusanagi back into her backpack, and went to the water source she had found last night to clean herself.

Raiden Ei looked at her reflection in the water: messy bangs and dusty clothes. She felt a bit guilty for not living up to Raiden Shogun's beautiful appearance, but this wasn't a place where she could take a proper bath, so this would have to do for now.

She walked around the island once and only found a dilapidated ship. The items inside the ship had been corroded by seawater, and she didn't get any information, only guessing it was a pirate ship because there were many sword marks on the wood.

Raiden Ei prepared to go find the Gorilla from yesterday to see if she could find any useful information. Along the way, she encountered many wild beasts of various sizes foraging.

It wasn't long before she reached the place where she had fought the Gorilla yesterday. The traces were still there, but eventually, they would be re-energized by the mighty power of nature.

Raiden Ei found the group of Gorillas she had seen yesterday, but this time they weren't as friendly, allowing her to pass. Gorillas jumped out from various places, roaring and yelling at her.

The leader was still the Gorilla from yesterday. Its injuries were no longer visible, but she saw it hiding among the group of Gorillas, as if it was afraid of her.

Raiden Ei didn't want to fight this group of Gorillas. There were so many of them, and while she was confident she wouldn't get hurt, it would be bad if her clothes were torn. She only had this one set of clothes right now.

She decided to use the Conqueror's Haki she had awakened last night, which would also be good practice. Looking at the eager Gorillas around her, there were over a hundred of them, which should be the largest force on this island.

Raiden Ei recalled how she had awakened it last night, then immersed herself in that emotion. An aura spread out from her in all directions.

The surrounding Gorillas suddenly, one after another, rolled their eyes and fainted, leaving only the leader of the group. Although it didn't faint, its limbs were weak, and it couldn't walk at all.

Raiden Ei walked up to it, looking at the three-meter-tall Gorilla, now lying on the ground, its back reaching her waist. One could imagine how muscular this Gorilla was. The largest of the other Gorillas were all a size smaller than it, no wonder it could be the boss.

"Gorilla, can you understand me?" Gorillas were known to be intelligent in the past, but she wondered how intelligent these Gorillas would be in a world where animals could become spirits!

The Gorilla didn't understand what this two-legged beast was saying, but it probably understood her intent: she wanted it to submit. The fierce beasts it had defeated before were all killed by it. It didn't need other fierce beasts as subordinates, but it still understood this law of the jungle.

So the Gorilla turned and lay facing Raiden Ei, making some sounds from its mouth, "************"

Raiden Ei was a bit confused: "⊙﹏⊙∥ What is it saying???"

Raiden Ei didn't indulge it. Since it didn't understand, she would just point it out. She kicked the Gorilla's arm with her foot. When it looked up, she pointed towards the seashore, signaling it to follow her, and she would lead the way.

The Gorilla wasn't stupid; it was quite intelligent. It just hadn't encountered Raiden Ei's way of communication before. Now that it knew what she wanted it to do, it immediately got up and followed her towards the seashore.

Raiden Ei breathed a sigh of relief when the Gorilla followed. If it hadn't understood, she would really have had to be ruthless and kick the Gorilla to the seashore.

This island wasn't large. With her current superhuman physique, it only took an hour to walk around it, so they quickly reached the pirate ship.

The area around this pirate ship was full of scorched rocks. The ship was stuck there by the scorched rocks, with only a small part on shore and most of it in the sea.

Raiden Ei just wanted to see if these Gorillas had ever seen such a ship, and when. She was now a bit unsure if these Gorillas understood what she was trying to express; they didn't seem very intelligent.

Raiden Ei pointed at the ship, then at the sea and the sun. Although she didn't know if it could understand her meaning, she had to try.

The Gorilla looked at the places Raiden Ei pointed to, then looked at the ship again, roared a few times at her, and made gestures, indicating for her to follow it.

Raiden Ei looked at the Gorilla mimicking her actions and now thought it was quite intelligent.
