Evening. Qianhui and Zhenshi sat under the World Tree.
Qianhui gazed at Wanquan in the distance, the corners of her lips slightly raised.
"Look how amazing Dad is. He's super strong."
Zhenshi didn't respond right away. She turned to look at Qianhui.
"Mom is amazing too. You're the Goddess of Sustainability."
Qianhui was momentarily surprised.
Zhenshi added, "Uncle is the God of Value, and Grandpa is the Debt Authority."
She looked back at Wanquan, a touch of defiant stubbornness in her voice.
"I have to work hard too. I won't lose to Dad."
Qianhui looked at her and smiled. She reached out and gently pulled Zhenshi into her embrace, her voice low and soft:
"My child, when Grandpa became the Debt Authority, it wasn't a promotion—it was being sent to put out a fire."
Zhenshi fell silent for a moment.
Qianhui continued, "You'll be joining us soon."
"Why?" Zhenshi lifted her head.
Qianhui gazed at her, tenderness in her eyes, along with a quiet, long-made resolve:
"Because you are to become the Goddess of Forgetfulness. That's why we changed your body."
