Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 (Part 1) — The Calm Before the Storm

The news of Lei Ba's visit to Cloud Mist Peak spread through the Lingyuan Sect even faster than the rumors from the previous days. By the time the sun rose the next morning, nearly every disciple in the sect had heard about the event. The idea that the fiery Peak Master of Thunder Flame Peak had personally visited the mysterious computer shop—and even praised it—shocked many people.

For many disciples, Lei Ba was known as someone who hated wasting time on trivial things. If he said something was good, it usually meant it was truly impressive.

Because of this, the reputation of the Cloud Mist Internet Café reached an entirely new level.

Even before the shop doors opened that morning, dozens of disciples had already gathered outside the building. The once quiet courtyard of Cloud Mist Peak had now become one of the busiest places in the sect.

"Did you hear what happened yesterday?"

"Yes! Peak Master Lei fought hundreds of enemies inside the illusion world!"

"I heard he laughed the entire time!"

"And he said his reaction speed improved!"

The crowd buzzed with excitement as more disciples arrived.

Some came from nearby peaks, while others had walked long distances from the outer disciple residences.

Inside the shop, Lin Tian calmly checked the system interface while listening to the growing noise outside.

The panel displayed the updated statistics.

Total Visitors Yesterday: 236

Spirit Stones Earned: 1,180

Lin Tian raised an eyebrow.

"In just two days…"

He had already earned more spirit stones than many small cultivation businesses would earn in months.

However, money was not the most important thing.

What truly mattered was the growing influence of Cloud Mist Peak.

For years, the peak had been ignored by the sect. Other peaks viewed it as weak and useless. Even its previous peak master rarely attended meetings or participated in sect affairs.

But now, everything was slowly changing.

Lin Tian leaned back in his chair and glanced toward the door.

More and more disciples were entering the shop.

Every computer quickly became occupied.

The atmosphere inside was lively as players entered different training realms.

Some fought terrifying zombies in ruined cities.

Others battled endless waves of soldiers on burning battlefields.

A few even explored the Creation Realm, experimenting with strange structures and materials.

Lin Tian watched the glowing screens with interest.

Each game realm provided different benefits.

The Zombie Catastrophe Realm improved reaction speed and survival instincts.

The Battlefield Realm strengthened combat awareness during large-scale battles.

The Creation Realm enhanced creativity and strategic thinking.

Although the improvements were not instant breakthroughs, the accumulated experience slowly strengthened the disciples' abilities.

Just then, the shop door opened again.

However, this time the atmosphere changed immediately.

The noisy conversations inside the room gradually quieted.

Several disciples instinctively stepped aside.

A tall figure wearing elegant white robes slowly entered the shop.

His presence felt completely different from Lei Ba's explosive aura.

Instead, his spiritual pressure felt sharp and focused—like an unsheathed sword.

Lin Tian immediately recognized him.

Jian Tianlong.

The Peak Master of Heaven Sword Peak.

The strongest of the five peak masters.

His appearance caused many disciples to feel nervous.

Unlike Lei Ba, Jian Tianlong was known for his strict personality and extremely high standards.

Very few people within the sect could earn his approval.

Jian Tianlong calmly observed the shop without speaking.

His sharp eyes carefully examined every machine, every glowing screen, and every disciple currently inside the virtual realms.

After a moment, he slowly walked toward Lin Tian.

"So this is the place everyone has been talking about."

His voice was calm, but it carried an undeniable authority.

Lin Tian nodded politely.

"Welcome, Peak Master Jian."

Jian Tianlong crossed his arms.

"I heard that even Lei Ba praised this place."

Lin Tian smiled slightly.

"He seemed to enjoy it."

Jian Tianlong remained silent for a moment.

His gaze moved toward the screens where several disciples were currently fighting monsters.

"I will test it myself."

The moment those words were spoken, the entire room became even quieter.

Even the disciples who had just finished their sessions stopped talking.

Everyone wanted to see what would happen next.

Because if Jian Tianlong, the strongest peak master in the sect, acknowledged the computer shop…

Then Cloud Mist Peak's status within the Lingyuan Sect would change forever.

Lin Tian gestured calmly toward one of the empty computers.

"Please."
