The moment the disciples near the entrance whispered the words "another sect", the entire Cloud Mist Internet Café became noticeably quieter. Many of the cultivators inside the shop slowly turned their heads toward the door, curiosity appearing on their faces.
Within the Lingyuan Sect, it was not unusual for visitors from nearby sects to appear from time to time. However, such visits usually happened during official exchanges, competitions, or trade negotiations between sects. It was extremely rare for outsiders to suddenly appear on a single peak, especially a peak that had been considered weak and unimportant for many years.
But now, Cloud Mist Peak was no longer the quiet and forgotten place it once was.
A few moments later, the door slowly opened.
A young man stepped inside.
His robes were different from those worn by Lingyuan Sect disciples. Instead of the familiar sect patterns, his clothing carried the emblem of a mountain surrounded by lightning-shaped symbols.
Several disciples immediately recognized the symbol.
"That's the emblem of the Storm Mountain Sect!"
"Why would someone from another sect come here?"
The room filled with quiet whispers as the visitor calmly looked around.
The young man appeared to be around twenty-five years old. His posture was confident, and his eyes carried a sharp and observant gaze. Although he did not release his spiritual pressure openly, the calm aura around him revealed that he was far from an ordinary cultivator.
Lin Tian watched the newcomer quietly.
Visitors from other sects were not entirely unexpected. After all, rumors about the mysterious training hall had already spread rapidly across the Lingyuan Sect. It was only a matter of time before outsiders heard about it as well.
The young man walked further into the shop, his eyes slowly examining the glowing screens and strange machines arranged throughout the room.
"So this is the place," he murmured.
Several disciples standing nearby exchanged uneasy looks.
Although sects often cooperated in certain matters, there was always an underlying sense of competition between them. Each sect wanted to strengthen its disciples and maintain its reputation among the cultivation world.
If the Cloud Mist Internet Café truly had the power to improve cultivation skills, it could become something extremely valuable.
The young visitor finally stopped in front of the counter.
"You must be Peak Master Lin," he said calmly.
Lin Tian nodded slightly.
"That's correct."
The young man smiled faintly.
"My name is Zhao Feng, a disciple of the Storm Mountain Sect."
Several Lingyuan disciples immediately frowned when they heard the name.
Storm Mountain Sect was one of the nearby sects that occasionally competed with Lingyuan Sect for resources and territory. While not exactly enemies, their relationship was far from friendly.
Zhao Feng seemed to notice the tension in the room but remained completely relaxed.
"I heard many interesting rumors about this place," he continued.
"They say cultivators can enter illusion worlds and improve their combat abilities."
Lin Tian crossed his arms casually.
"You're welcome to try it."
Zhao Feng's eyes showed a hint of interest.
"Oh?"
"You allow outsiders to use it as well?"
Lin Tian nodded.
"The shop is open to everyone."
The surrounding disciples looked slightly surprised.
Many of them had assumed that the shop would only be available to members of the Lingyuan Sect.
Zhao Feng studied Lin Tian for a moment before chuckling softly.
"That's quite generous."
Without hesitation, he placed a pouch of spirit stones on the counter.
"I would like to test it myself."
Lin Tian gestured toward one of the available computers.
"Please."
Zhao Feng walked toward the machine and sat down.
Several disciples immediately gathered around the screen, curious to see how someone from another sect would perform inside the training realms.
The system activated.
A bright flash of light filled the screen.
Moments later, Zhao Feng's consciousness entered the virtual world.
Inside the simulation, he found himself standing inside a ruined city filled with broken buildings and abandoned streets.
The dark environment felt strangely oppressive.
Zhao Feng looked around with interest.
"So this is the famous illusion world."
Before he could explore further, several terrifying creatures slowly emerged from the shadows.
Their pale skin and twisted limbs gave them a horrifying appearance.
Zhao Feng's eyes sharpened.
"Interesting."
He grabbed the weapon that appeared in his hand and immediately prepared for battle.
The creatures rushed toward him.
Zhao Feng moved quickly, his weapon flashing through the air as he struck the first monster.
Inside the shop, the watching disciples quickly noticed something unusual.
"He's fast."
"His movements are very sharp."
Although Zhao Feng's fighting style was different from the Lingyuan disciples, his skills were clearly impressive.
Inside the ruined city, he fought several waves of monsters without hesitation.
Each time a creature attacked, he responded with precise and efficient movements.
Several minutes later, the simulation ended.
Zhao Feng opened his eyes inside the shop.
He remained seated quietly for a moment.
Then he slowly stood up.
His expression had changed.
"This…"
He tested a few combat movements with his weapon.
"My reaction speed improved."
The disciples around him immediately began whispering again.
Even someone from another sect had confirmed the effectiveness of the training realms.
Zhao Feng turned toward Lin Tian with a thoughtful expression.
"You have created something very interesting here."
Lin Tian simply smiled.
"It's only a small training hall."
Zhao Feng shook his head slightly.
"No."
"This place could change how cultivators train."
He paused for a moment before continuing.
"I imagine many sects would be very interested in such a place."
The disciples nearby immediately felt a slight tension in the air.
Zhao Feng's words were not just casual praise.
They sounded more like a warning.
Lin Tian, however, remained completely calm.
"That depends on how people choose to view it."
Zhao Feng looked at him for a moment before smiling again.
"I will definitely return."
Then he turned and walked toward the door.
As he left the shop, many disciples watched him carefully.
Inside the shop, the discussions quickly resumed.
"Do you think other sects will come too?"
"This place might become famous outside the Lingyuan Sect!"
Lin Tian leaned quietly against the counter while observing the growing crowd.
But inside his mind, the system panel suddenly displayed another notification.
DING.
External Influence Detected.
Lin Tian narrowed his eyes slightly.
It seemed that the computer shop was beginning to attract attention far beyond the Lingyuan Sect.
And that could lead to opportunities…
Or new dangers.
