Chapter 1 - Ebhabe Fire Asha Jai,Story part6

Story Title: Ebhabe Fire Asha Jai (Part 6)

The evening sky over the small town was painted with soft shades of orange and purple. A gentle breeze moved through the trees as Arnob walked slowly along the riverbank. His mind was heavy with thoughts of Meghla.

For days, Meghla had been distant. Her messages were short, and sometimes she didn't reply at all. Arnob could feel that something was wrong, but he didn't know what.

That evening, he received a message from Meghla:

"Can we meet tomorrow near the old banyan tree?"

Arnob's heart started beating faster. That place was special to them. It was where they first confessed their feelings.

The next day, Arnob reached the banyan tree early. The sunlight filtered through the big leaves, creating patterns on the ground. Memories filled his mind—laughter, promises, and dreams.

After a few minutes, Meghla arrived. She looked beautiful but tired, as if she hadn't slept well.

Arnob asked softly,

"Meghla… everything okay?"

Meghla looked down for a moment. Then she said slowly,

"Arnob, my family wants me to move to another city."

Arnob felt like the ground beneath him disappeared.

"For how long?" he asked.

Meghla's voice trembled.

"Maybe forever."

Silence filled the air. The sound of the river seemed louder now.

Arnob looked into Meghla's eyes.

"So… what about us?"

Meghla wiped a tear from her cheek.

"I don't know. Life is becoming complicated."

Arnob took a deep breath.

"Love was never supposed to be easy, Meghla."

Meghla looked at him with pain in her eyes.

"I don't want to lose you, Arnob. But I also can't hurt my family."

For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Then Arnob smiled sadly.

"Sometimes life takes us far away… but hearts that truly love always find their way back."

Meghla whispered,

"You really believe that?"

Arnob nodded.

"Yes. Because some stories are not meant to end halfway."

A tear rolled down Meghla's cheek, but this time she smiled a little.

The sun slowly began to set behind the trees.

Before leaving, Meghla said quietly,

"Promise me something."

"What?" Arnob asked.

"No matter what happens… don't forget me."

Arnob replied gently,

"I could forget the world… but never you."

They walked away in different directions that evening, but both of them carried the same hope in their hearts.

Because sometimes…

Love doesn't end.

It only waits for the right moment to return.
