Chapter 72 - Chapter 72 Is Huo Yuhao About to Be Expelled?

With Huo Yuhao's body as the center, an area over ten meters in diameter instantly transformed into a World of ice and snow. All the surrounding students watching the commotion felt a bone-chilling cold and subconsciously took two steps back.

However, the figures of Huo Yuhao, Jiang Cou, and Guan Xin were all shrouded by that dazzling golden light from before; they couldn't see what was happening at all and could only watch anxiously.

Meanwhile, Jiang Cou and Guan Xin, who were right next to Huo Yuhao, felt it even more profoundly—this bone-chilling cold caused them to shudder uncontrollably, and an indescribable pressure left them completely unable to resist or struggle. They could only stare in horror at the figure before them, which had suddenly become much more imposing.

Huo Yuhao's right arm slowly rose. At some point, his right index finger had turned an icy blue, and a white light shone in his eyes.

"You dare touch the person this brother has chosen? You dare disturb this brother's sleep? Go to hell!"

A slightly somber voice suddenly echoed in Huo Yuhao's mind, and his index finger pointed forward. Immediately, an icy blue beam of light flashed and vanished in the air.

Faced with the Tianmeng Ice Silkworm's 'Tianmeng Finger,' even Ma Xiaotao would have been blasted directly into Sea God Lake, let alone these two Spirit Grandmasters who only had two-ring cultivation bases.

The two had no power to resist at all; they didn't even have time to let out a scream before they were killed on the spot.

Not even the corpses of the two remained; only wisps of white mist slowly rose in front of Huo Yuhao.

Performing the Tianmeng Finger instantly drained the little spirit power left in Huo Yuhao's body. The golden halo faded rapidly, turning white before disappearing. All the surrounding cold vanished in an instant, and Huo Yuhao's white eyes, which had been radiating intense chill, returned to normal. His body went limp, and he collapsed to the ground.

The surrounding students watching the commotion finally saw the scene in the hall below clearly.

But to their surprise, in the entire first-floor hall of the teaching building, only the unconscious figure of Huo Yuhao remained on the ground. Jiang Cou and Guan Xin had vanished, along with the traces of the super glue they had left on the floor.

Someone in the crowd swallowed hard and asked in a dry voice, "Where are those two upperclassmen?"

"They... they couldn't be dead, could they?"

"What was that thing just now?"

In the crowd, Dai Huabin's expression became exceptionally grim, but in his heart, there was more a sense of panic.

Damn it, what exactly happened just now?

Where did those two guys go!?

Before Dai Huabin could figure it out, over a dozen figures rushed over at incredible speed and soon appeared in the hall of the First Year teaching building.

Zhou Yi, the homeroom teacher of Class 1, the homeroom teacher of Class 3, Mu Jin, the homeroom teacher of Class 9, and Du Weiren, the Director of Instruction, were among them.

Seeing Huo Yuhao slumped on the ground, having lost all strength and fainted, Zhou Yi's expression changed slightly. She hurried forward and knelt down to check Huo Yuhao's condition.

Du Weiren, however, frowned and scanned the figures on the upper floors with his gaze.

They had sensed a terrifying aura and had rushed over without pause. As it turned out, the place where this aura appeared only had one unconscious First Year student?

There were plenty of student onlookers around, though...

Du Weiren randomly pointed to a student in the crowd and asked with authority, "You, tell me, what happened just now?"

The student who was pointed out was a bit nervous but still recounted the sequence of events exactly as they happened.

After hearing the full story, Du Weiren's gaze immediately fell upon Huo Yuhao.

The light faded, leaving only Huo Yuhao alone, and those two Third-year students had disappeared?

When they arrived just now, they didn't see any Third-year students running out from this direction... Are they already dead?

A student dying was a major incident at Shrek Academy.

"Director, I've already gone to check with the Third-year teachers; we should be able to confirm the identities of those two Third-year students soon."

"Mhm."

Du Weiren grunted in response, his gaze sweeping over Huo Yuhao as he spoke coldly, "Take this student; we're leaving. The other First Year teachers, take your students back to class. Remember to tell them not to spread word of this."

"As for Teacher Zhou Yi..."

Du Weiren paused, seemingly thinking of her husband, the Eighth-Rank Soul Engineer, and his tone softened considerably. "He is your student after all, so Teacher Zhou Yi, you come along as well."

Taken away?

Ao Yao watched with some surprise as Zhou Yi carried Huo Yuhao on her back and followed Du Weiren out, his eyes filled with a strange look.

Others couldn't see clearly, but he had seen it perfectly—those two unlucky Third-years were indeed dead, as dead as could be, without even a trace left behind.

In other words, Huo Yuhao had indeed killed two students of Shrek Academy.

And it wasn't during a match on the Soul Dueling Platform or during an assessment.

This was a private fight; the situation could be even more severe.

Ning Tian couldn't help but click her tongue, asking curiously, "Will he face punishment?"

Punishment?

Ao Yao paused, then spoke with great interest, "Shrek Academy's purpose is to cultivate the strong of the Spirit Master's world, but respecting life and controlling one's own power are the primary prerequisites for becoming a powerhouse. Accidentally killing a classmate is a major taboo."

Ao Yao wasn't talking nonsense; this could be seen from Yu Xiaogang's teachings to Tang San during Tang San's era, as well as Yan Shaozhe's admonitions to students participating in the Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Soul Duel Tournament. Of course, for certain core disciples that the Academy particularly valued, this bottom line could be lowered slightly, such as with Ma Xiaotao after she fell and became an Evil Soul Master.

But right now, Huo Yuhao was not a student the Academy valued.

At this moment, he was merely a 'trash' student with only a dozen or so levels of spirit power and a white first spirit ring.

If this script were applied to anyone else, expulsion would be the lightest punishment. Huo Yuhao might even be permanently blacklisted by Shrek Academy, never allowed to enter Shrek City again, and the Shrek Inspection Squad would perform long-term or even lifelong monitoring of his actions.

But Huo Yuhao was the protagonist, the child of destiny, with a pair of large hands secretly manipulating things behind him.

So... it was really hard to say what punishment Huo Yuhao would ultimately receive.

If Huo Yuhao were really expelled from Shrek Academy, the fun would be immense.

As the most important piece in Tang San's chess game, Huo Yuhao bore the mission of rebuilding the Tang Sect's glory and continuing Shrek Academy's brilliance. If he were kicked out of the academy... Tang San's face would probably turn green, wouldn't it?
