Without waiting for Marco's response, Reno shot into the air, flying toward Onigashima.
Marco snapped out of his daze when he heard Reno's shout, but when he looked up, Reno had already flown far ahead, leaving behind only a small black dot in the sky.
Seeing this, Marco cursed loudly, "You little brat, wait for me!"
As Marco took off in pursuit, he quickly fell further behind, and before long, Reno was out of sight.
Marco could only fly at his own pace, muttering to himself, "This little brat's powers are really freakish. Not only is his flight speed like lightning, but his attacks are terrifying too!"
In Marco's eyes, Reno couldn't have gained those abilities through developing his powers—if it was part of his Devil Fruit powers, everything would make sense.
If Reno knew what Marco was thinking, he'd probably scoff and say, "Do you think your muscle-bound brain could ever imagine the creativity that my mind, bombarded by the digital age, can come up with?"

Reno glanced around at the scattered debris and bodies and thought to himself, "It looks like the Beast Pirates suffered heavy losses here! Not only did one of the three calamities die, but so many of them are dead here. Jack's still without a ship, and I'm not sure if Ashura Doji is dead either. But that guy probably didn't die—he's a monster after all!"
At that moment, Kin'emon approached, looking concerned, and asked, "Little brat, were the hostages rescued?"
Reno saw Kin'emon coming and heard him calling him "little brat" again. He immediately snarled, "Of course, I saved the hostages... but I slapped them all to death!"
"Hahahaha... It's good that you saved them!"
Kin'emon, hearing that the hostages had been rescued, laughed heartily, not paying attention to the latter part of Reno's comment.
He knew Reno wouldn't do such a thing and probably said it just because he was called "little brat" again.
Whitebeard noticed that only Reno had returned, and Marco was nowhere to be seen. He asked, "You little brat didn't leave my beloved son behind, did you?"
Whitebeard, knowing that there was nothing on the island that could threaten Marco, figured that Reno's speed was so fast that Marco had been left behind. He asked jokingly to tease Reno.
Reno immediately saw through Whitebeard's intentions and, not wanting to entertain such a trivial question, instead asked, "Uncle Whitebeard, stop joking around and tell me about Kaido's condition!"
"Glahhahahaha..."
Whitebeard laughed even harder, surprised that Reno had caught on so quickly. "Kaido and I fought, and I hit him with several direct punches. Now he's lying on his ship, barely alive!"
"But for some reason, even though we've beaten them, they haven't left. They don't seem like they want to continue fighting either!"
Earlier, Whitebeard had fought Kaido, and Kin'emon had fought with Ashura Doji. After a short while, both Kaido and Ashura Doji were defeated by Whitebeard and Kin'emon, and the fighting stopped.
Kaido wasn't at his peak yet, while Whitebeard was in his prime, so Kaido couldn't withstand Whitebeard's punches and was severely injured.
After losing, Kaido and Ashura Doji retreated to their ships but didn't leave. Kin'emon, thinking they still wanted to fight, was ready to chase after them.

Reno, hearing Whitebeard's words, thought to himself: They haven't left because they're probably waiting for Queen, but they'll never see him again!

With that, Reno floated up lazily and turned to Whitebeard, saying, "Uncle Whitebeard, I need to go see Kaido. If he goes crazy, you'll help me stop him, right?"
"Alright... be careful!"
Whitebeard, about to ask why Reno wanted to see Kaido, realized that Reno was always so mysterious. He decided not to ask, knowing that Reno would probably not answer truthfully anyway.
