Chapter 1 - The Day Everything Changed

Today was the day.

The long-awaited release of the first edition of Yuri Heaven, a brand-new game made specifically for yuri lovers.

Finally.

"Hi, my name is Akira Kurogane. I'm thirty-five years old… and yes, unfortunately, I'm still a virgin."

I paused for a second and shrugged.

"But honestly? That doesn't bother me."

While other people chased relationships and careers, I chased limited-edition figures, rare manga volumes, and every yuri game ever released. I loved yuri—pure, dramatic, wholesome, intense—every version of it.

You could say I'm the biggest yuri fan in the world.

And I'm proud of it.

I also loved creating things—drawing outfits, designing fantasy weapons, imagining magical artifacts that didn't exist. My sketchbooks were filled with ideas I'd probably never use.

But today?

Nothing mattered except this game.

Even if an earthquake hit, I wasn't leaving my chair.

As soon as I launched the game, my vision blurred slightly.

"Probably just excitement," I muttered.

I pressed Start.

Suddenly, the room spun.

My fingers went numb.

The controller slipped from my hands.

As my body collapsed to the floor, my fading vision caught the opening scene—two girls standing in a magical academy courtyard. One of them cast a spell, and shimmering light wrapped around her partner, forming a beautifully revealing outfit.

Creation magic.

"I wish I had that ability…" I whispered weakly. "To create anything I imagine… that kind of magic would be amazing…"

Darkness swallowed me.

At first, there was silence.

Then—

A girl's cry.

Faint. Distant. Desperate.

I couldn't understand the language, but the emotion pierced straight through me.

"H-Hello?" I tried to respond.

No answer.

Then pain.

Unimaginable pain.

It felt like my flesh was being torn apart and stitched back together. Like my bones were cracking and reshaping. Every nerve in my body screamed.

"What is—?!"

Before I could finish the thought, everything went black.

When I opened my eyes again, I was lying in a small room.

Stone walls.

Wooden beams.

A narrow window letting in pale light.

This wasn't my apartment.

This wasn't a hospital.

"…Where am I?"

"So you're finally awake, Akira."

I froze.

A man dressed entirely in white sat beside the bed. His posture was relaxed, yet something about him felt overwhelming—like the air itself respected him.

Wow… even his voice sounds powerful.

"Who are you?" I asked cautiously. "And where am I? This isn't my home. It's not any hospital I've seen."

He looked at me calmly.

"For now, you may call me God."

"…Excuse me?"

"I oversee multiple worlds, including your previous one—Earth."

That didn't sit right with me.

"What are you talking about? And how exactly are you a God?"

He snapped his fingers.

The room disappeared instantly.

In the blink of an eye, we stood in an endless white void.

No floor. No ceiling. Just emptiness stretching forever.

"You died in your world," he said calmly. "A cerebral hemorrhage. I brought your soul here because it was pure."

"Pure?"

"You lived thirty-five years without committing a crime. You carried no hatred. And yes, you died a virgin."

"…Was that necessary to mention?"

"It was relevant," he replied smoothly. "Though tragic."

I stared at him.

"I waited six years for that game," I muttered. "Six. Years."

"You regret a game more than your life?"

"Of course I do! I didn't even finish the prologue!"

He sighed, almost amused.

"Regardless, I need your help."

He explained everything—about a world called Shinkai, about a sealed Demon Queen whose return would bring devastation. He needed someone compatible. Someone who could grow stronger.

And somehow, that someone was me.

After the shock settled, I asked questions. Lots of them.

We went back and forth for what felt like hours.

Eventually, we reached an understanding.

"I want creation magic," I said firmly.

He shook his head. "True creation without limits is impossible."

"Then give me something close."

After a moment of silence, he nodded.

"You may create—but only using experience. You must earn your power."

Fair enough.

"And one more ability," he continued. "Gluttony. You may consume fallen creatures and convert them into raw materials."

That sounded… slightly disturbing.

But also extremely useful.

Before I could ask anything else, the world shattered.

Cold.

Wet.

Leaves.

I gasped and shot upright.

Jungle.

Dense trees stretched endlessly in every direction.

"…Why am I naked?"

I scrambled to my feet and followed the sound of flowing water.

At the riverbank, I froze.

The reflection staring back at me wasn't the thirty-five-year-old shut-in I remembered.

Instead, a handsome young man stood there.

Silver-gray hair.

Sharp features.

Golden eyes.

I leaned closer.

"…Why do my pupils look like that?"

They were slightly slit—almost like a reptile's.

A chill ran down my spine.

I shook my head quickly.

"Focus. You just reincarnated. Weird eyes are normal in isekai, right?"

Before I could process further—

Rustling.

Goblins.

A lot of them.

"…You've got to be kidding me."

They surrounded me.

No weapon.

No clothes.

No magic prepared.

"Is this how heroes start?!"

They charged.

My body moved before my mind did. I dodged a blade by inches, grabbed a fallen branch, and swung it hard into a goblin's face.

The impact felt… natural.

Another lunged.

I twisted, kicked, and sent it flying.

"What is this body?!" I muttered.

I had never trained. Never fought.

Yet my movements were precise.

One blade grazed my side.

Pain shot through me.

"That was close!"

I sprinted toward the river and crossed to the other side where slimes bounced harmlessly.

"Okay. You look less murderous."

I smashed them one by one.

A strange sensation filled my mind.

Experience gained.

"…So this is real."

Breathing heavily, I sat under a tree.

"System."

A translucent screen appeared.

Unknown

"Infinity?"

I blinked.

"That's either broken… or terrifying."

And those two unknowns—

"What are you hiding?"

I shook my head.

"Survival first."

I focused on creation.

A simple pair of trousers formed.

Half my XP vanished.

"Half?! For basic pants?!"

The fabric quality was poor.

"Budget mode activated."

I created a plain shirt, then used the remaining XP to form a simple dagger.

Now armed, I hunted carefully.

Slimes.

Goblins.

Even strange killer rabbits.

XP accumulated quickly.

Standing over a goblin corpse, I hesitated.

"Gluttony."

Dark energy flowed from my hand and devoured the body instantly.

Raw materials acquired.

"…That's disturbing."

But effective.

Soon exhaustion hit hard.

I tried creating food with XP—nothing happened.

Then I used raw materials.

A bowl of ramen appeared exactly as I imagined it.

Steam rose gently.

"…Okay. That's broken."

I ate in silence and rested.

Afterward, I walked for hours, searching for a village.

Nothing.

Just endless jungle.

As the sun began to set, frustration built.

"You couldn't spawn me near a town?" I muttered. "Not even a farm?"

Sleeping on the ground was too dangerous.

So I climbed a tall tree and used my magic to shape a small wooden platform with a roof and walls.

A simple treehouse.

As I lay down, staring at the wooden ceiling, anger bubbled up.

"Most isekai protagonists wake up in castles," I muttered. "I wake up naked in a jungle."

Exhaustion took over.

A scream shattered the morning.

I jolted upright.

For a second, I forgot where I was.

Then reality returned.

Jungle.

Deep jungle.

So why—

I looked down.

A young woman stood beneath my tree.

Beside her lay a man, stabbed through the heart.

Dead.

Bandits surrounded her from all sides.

Weapons drawn.

Grinning.

"…You've got to be kidding me."

My grip tightened.

"So this is how day two starts?"

To Be Continued.
