Chapter 1 - The Crystal of the Hidden Sky ✨

Long ago, beyond the maps of ordinary people, there was a mysterious land called Eldoria. It was a place where mountains touched the clouds, rivers shimmered like silver, and ancient magic still flowed through the forests.

In a small village at the edge of Eldoria lived a sixteen-year-old boy named Rivan. Unlike the other villagers, Rivan always felt that he was meant for something greater. While others worked in the fields or learned trades, he spent his time exploring the forests, climbing cliffs, and reading old legends.

His favorite legend was about The Crystal of the Hidden Sky.

The story said that long ago, a powerful crystal fell from the heavens. The crystal held the energy of the stars and could protect the world from darkness. But after a terrible war between light and shadow, the crystal was hidden somewhere deep within the Forbidden Mountains.

Most people believed the story was just a myth.

But Rivan believed it was real.

One evening, while searching through his grandfather's old wooden chest, Rivan discovered something strange — a torn piece of an ancient map. The map showed the Forbidden Mountains and a symbol shaped like a glowing crystal.

His heart began to race.

"This must be it," he whispered.

The next morning, before the sun rose, Rivan packed a small bag with bread, water, and a knife. Without telling anyone, he left the village and began his journey toward the mountains.

The journey was not easy.

For days he walked through thick forests where the sunlight barely touched the ground. Strange sounds echoed through the trees at night. Sometimes glowing insects floated in the air like tiny stars.

On the third night, something unexpected happened.

As Rivan was resting beside a river, a soft voice spoke behind him.

"You should not travel alone in these woods."

Rivan quickly turned around.

Standing there was a girl about his age, wearing a green cloak and carrying a bow.

"My name is Lyra," she said calmly. "And you are heading toward the Forbidden Mountains."

Rivan was surprised. "How did you know?"

Lyra smiled slightly.

"Because I'm going there too."

She explained that she was the daughter of a forest guardian. For years, strange dark creatures had been appearing near the mountains, and she believed the source of the darkness was connected to the lost crystal.

Realizing they had the same goal, the two decided to travel together.

Their journey became even more dangerous as they got closer to the mountains.

They crossed broken bridges above deep valleys. They walked through caves filled with glowing blue stones. Once, they had to hide from a giant shadow beast that roamed the cliffs.

But they also discovered beautiful wonders.

They saw waterfalls that glowed under moonlight. They walked through fields of silver grass that sang softly in the wind. And at night, the stars above the mountains looked brighter than anywhere else in the world.

After many days of traveling, they finally reached the heart of the Forbidden Mountains.

There, hidden between two giant cliffs, was the entrance to an ancient temple.

The walls were covered with strange symbols that shimmered faintly in the dark.

"This must be where the crystal is," Rivan said quietly.

Inside the temple, the air felt cold and heavy. The deeper they walked, the brighter the symbols on the walls began to glow.

Finally, they reached a huge circular chamber.

And in the center of the room—

Floating above a stone pedestal—

Was the Crystal of the Hidden Sky.

It was even more beautiful than the legends described. The crystal shined with soft blue and golden light, and tiny sparks of energy moved inside it like miniature stars.

But just as Rivan stepped forward, the ground suddenly shook.

A deep, terrifying voice echoed through the chamber.

"So… someone has come for the crystal."

From the shadows appeared a tall dark figure with glowing red eyes. It was a Shadow Lord — one of the ancient beings that once tried to destroy the world.

"The crystal belongs to darkness now," the creature growled.

Lyra quickly raised her bow, but the Shadow Lord laughed.

"You cannot stop me."

Dark energy filled the room, and the creature moved toward them.

Rivan's heart pounded.

Then he remembered something from the legend.

The crystal could only awaken for someone with courage and a pure heart.

Without thinking, Rivan ran toward the pedestal.

"Rivan, wait!" Lyra shouted.

The Shadow Lord lunged at him.

But just as the creature reached him, Rivan grabbed the crystal.

Suddenly, a burst of brilliant light exploded from the crystal.

The entire chamber filled with glowing energy.

The Shadow Lord screamed as the light pushed it backward. The darkness around it began to break apart like smoke in the wind.

"Impossible!" the creature roared.

The crystal's light grew even stronger.

With one final flash, the Shadow Lord vanished into nothingness.

Silence filled the temple.

Rivan slowly looked down at the crystal glowing in his hands.

Lyra walked toward him, amazed.

"You did it," she said softly.

The crystal had chosen him.

Outside the temple, something magical began to happen.

The sky above the mountains turned brighter. The cold wind disappeared. Even the forests below seemed to glow with new life.

The darkness that had been spreading across Eldoria was gone.

Rivan and Lyra returned to the village as heroes.

But Rivan knew something important.

The real power of the crystal was not magic.

It was courage.

And sometimes, the greatest adventures begin with a simple belief in the impossible.
