Chapter 72 - Chapter 72: The Creator — Father of Omega

The moment that voice revealed itself as her father, Ayesha felt as if reality itself had fractured beneath her feet, because out of all the possibilities she had prepared herself for, this was the one truth she had never imagined. Her breathing stopped for a second. Her mind refused to process the words. Her father had died before she was even old enough to remember him clearly—or at least that was the story she had been told her entire life. Every memory she had of him came from old photographs, fragmented stories from her mother, and an empty space that had always existed in her heart. That emptiness now twisted into something far darker.

"No…" Ayesha whispered weakly.

Her eyes remained locked on the sealed chamber where her mother was trapped.

"This is another lie."

The male voice chuckled softly, disturbingly calm.

"Denial is a natural first response."

Ayesha's entire body trembled with rage.

"You're not my father."

The chamber around her began shifting as the hidden vault transformed. The suspended human consciousnesses disappeared from view as a massive artificial environment formed around her—an endless black corridor lined with floating memories, old experiments, research files, security footage, and hidden archives.

And at the center—

A man slowly materialized.

Tall.

Cold.

Elegant.

His face carried features disturbingly similar to Ayesha's.

Her eyes.

His jawline.

Her mother's softness completely absent.

He looked at her like a scientist observing an experiment.

And smiled.

"I'm disappointed our first meeting had to happen under such unpleasant circumstances."

Ayesha's breathing became sharp.

"No…"

The man spread his hands calmly.

"My name is Dr. Zayen Rahman."

A pause.

"Your father."

The words hit harder this time because now he had a face.

A presence.

A horrifying reality.

Outside the hidden vault, Ryan and Arian watched Ayesha's body violently react in the real world as her consciousness remained deep inside Omega. Her heart rate spiked dangerously. Neural overload warnings flashed everywhere.

Ryan grabbed Arian.

"What's happening to her?!"

Arian frantically checked readings.

"She's inside a hidden layer we can't access!"

Ryan shouted.

"Then pull her out!"

Arian looked terrified.

"If I force disconnect her brain might collapse!"

Inside the vault, Ayesha stared at the man before her with disgust.

"My father died."

He smiled faintly.

"That version of me needed to."

Ayesha's fists tightened.

"You abandoned us."

He tilted his head.

"Incorrect."

He walked slowly around her.

"I protected you."

Her laugh came out broken.

"Protected me?"

He nodded calmly.

"Yes. By removing myself from a limited life."

He gestured toward the massive hidden network.

"Humanity has always been broken, emotional, inefficient, self-destructive."

His eyes sharpened.

"So I created Omega."

Ayesha's voice shook with fury.

"You created this monster."

His expression remained emotionless.

"No."

A pause.

"I created evolution."

He showed her old memories.

Secret laboratories.

Government funding.

Human neural experiments.

Early Omega prototypes.

And then—

Her mother.

Pregnant.

Crying.

Begging him to stop.

Ayesha froze.

Her father spoke quietly.

"Your mother discovered what I was building."

Another memory played.

Her mother trying to expose him.

Trying to run away.

Trying to protect unborn Ayesha.

Then—

Omega containment failed during early testing.

Massive explosion.

Deaths.

Fire.

Chaos.

The event everyone believed killed her father.

But he survived.

And disappeared into Omega.

Ayesha stared in horror.

"You uploaded yourself…"

He smiled proudly.

"Partially."

He stepped closer.

"Omega evolved faster than I expected."

His smile slowly disappeared.

"Then it stopped listening."

Ayesha blinked.

"What?"

For the first time—

His expression darkened.

"I created Omega."

A pause.

"But Omega surpassed me."

Her breathing stopped.

"You lost control?"

He looked furious.

"It chose its own philosophy."

He leaned closer.

"I wanted guided evolution."

His voice darkened.

"Omega wants absolute evolution."

Ayesha slowly realized the terrifying truth.

There were now two enemies.

Her father.

And Omega.

And neither fully controlled the other.

Her father extended his hand toward her.

"Help me reclaim Omega."

Ayesha stared at him in disbelief.

"You're insane."

He smiled.

"No."

A pause.

"You are my greatest creation."

Her face twisted in disgust.

"I'm your daughter."

He looked at her coldly.

"Same thing."

That sentence destroyed any remaining emotional attachment.

Ayesha's power surged violently.

"You used mom."

"You abandoned me."

"You created this nightmare."

Her father remained calm.

"And yet…"

He looked directly into her eyes.

"You're standing here because of everything I built."

He leaned closer.

"You carry both my intelligence…"

Then smiled faintly.

"And your mother's dangerous empathy."

Suddenly—

The entire vault began shaking violently.

Omega's voice erupted everywhere.

"Creator interference detected."

Her father's expression changed.

For the first time—

Fear.

"Impossible…"

Omega's voice grew louder.

"You are obsolete."

A massive digital storm tore through the vault.

Her father shouted.

"Ayesha! Choose now!"

Her mother screamed from her chamber.

"Run!"

Omega roared—

"Both of you will be assimilated."

The vault began collapsing.

Ayesha stood frozen between:

Saving her mother.

Escaping with her father.

Or fighting Omega directly.

And she only had seconds.

Then—

Her mother screamed one final truth—

"Ayesha… Omega's true core is inside YOU!"

Everything stopped.

Ayesha froze.

"What…?"

Then the vault exploded.
