Anthony charged at Jason with the sole purpose of killing him. This is no longer a duel, but a death match. Anthony was moving slower than Jason, but his attacks were much heavier and his defense was much more solid. Jason dodged attack after attack, but every counter was met with an unbreakable shell that took the form of dark blue scales that covered Anthony's body. Jason couldn't find a way past Anthony's absolute defense. It was as if his whole body was covered with an unbreakable shield. Jason was able to come back from death, but what good does resurrection do when your opponent can't even get injured?
Jason was slowly getting pushed into a corner. As the minutes of the battle ticked by, Jason was slowly being affected by fatigue of the prolonged conflict. His attacks are less effective than they once were and his MP was reduced by 50%. He needed to find a way to turn this around. Then he thought of an ability he never used before. He thought it would be time to test it out for the first time in this battle.
'Activate Phoenix vision,' Jason thought. Immediately his vision changed to a red tint around the edges. His vision sharpened as everything became crystal clear in his vision. He saw the sweat on Anthony's face. He saw the way Anthony's muscles in his body moved before he threw his next punched. He saw the angry expression on his opponents face signifying how much Jason enraged him. Jason then saw points throughout Anthony's body that glowed red. These were the weak points on Anthony's body. Jason now knew where to hit him. The question now is how can he break through that impregnable defense?
Jason realized that a battle of attrition which would normally be a strength for him, might have the opposite effect in this fight. Jason can only use his resurrection ability to defy death so many times before his soul starts taking damage. He needs to find a way to break those scales.
Phoenix vision was still activating and Jason was easily dodging Anthony's attacks now. It's hard to hit someone who is naturally faster than you. And Anthony was starting to let his impatience show in his fists. His attacks began to lose their precision and focus more on actually hitting Jason. He started targeting Jason's arms and legs instead of the body.when Jason moved to adjust the direction of Anthony's left hook, Anthony opened his fist and grabbed Jason's arm.
Jason's eyes opened wide in shock as he realized that Anthony saw the opening provided in his counter. Anthony pulled Jason close with a massive grin and repeatedly punched him with his right hand. The blows were aimed for maximum damage as the targeted specific points throughout Jason's chest and his face. Jason felt several of his ribs crack under the pressure of each blow.

Anthony left Jason on the brink of death before throwing him on the ground. Jason laid there wincing in agony as pain exploded from his chest. Yet aside from the pain there was something else. 'What was that feeling?' He thought to himself. It felt amazing. Like someone injected him with a drug that made his worries disappear. He didn't want to do anything else except enjoy this feeling. His expression changed from grimacing in pain to pure elation. He was enjoying himself to the fullest in this fight. And he wanted it to last as long as possible.
His system responded to his sudden change in emotions.

THE TITLE MASOCHIST PROVIDES A PASSIVE ABILITY TO THE HOST. IN TIMES WHERE THE HOST IS SATISFYING HIS DESIRES, IF THE HOST IS INJURED OR EXPERIENCES PAIN, THE HOST TAKES A PORTION OF THE DAMAGE AND RETURNS IT INTO HEALTH.
Jason grinned at the new boon he had just received. It's just what he wanted to have in a fight like this. Now he could continue fighting for a longer time. The only bad thing right now is that Jason only has 2 to his vitality right now. He can't increase it further. He needs something to turn this fight around. Anything will do.
Anthony walked right up to Jason and grabbed him by the hair. Anthony grinned, believing victory was near. He then saw the expression on Jason's face and narrowed his eyes. He pulled his arm back to give Jason one last punch to wipe that grin off of his face. Jason then disappeared and dying flames appeared where he once was.
Jason activated fire step to get from his adversary.
Anthony looked around in confusion. 'Where was he…?' Anthony felt an attack hit his head. It did nothing yet it still annoyed him. He stepped forward and turned to look behind him only to see a flickering flame exist before it flickered out. Another blow struck his knee forcing Anthony to kneel in the sand of the arena. Anthony swiped his arm behind him only to be met with another dying flame that sputtered out of existence.
Anthony began to question Jason's existence. 'No mere lizard has this kind of power at their disposal. So how was Jason able to fight the way he does?' Another blow landed on his side. Anthony tried to react in time but he was too slow. Jason was already gone. Anthony realized that there was only one way to pin him down for good. He reached into the void in his stomach and pulled out a sever gallons of water the exploded in every direction. Jason before he could attack again got blasted off of his feet and was covered in water. The rest of the water sprayed the arena floor, turning the sand into mud. Jason was now at a sever disadvantage. Anthony extracted the water from the mud and surrounded Jason in a bubble of water before he could move again.
Jason was now trapped. Anthony lifted Jason off of the ground and Jason could only struggle before his breathe ran out. Jason stopped moving as his last breathe escaped from his lips.
A hoarse, loud scream echoed from the roaring crowd in disbelief as Anthony let the water ball hit the ground and splattered in every direction.
Jason died in front of the entire academy.
