Jay's POV
I was about to step forward… about to place my hand into Yuri's, to say yes…
When the doors burst open.
"JAY! STOP!"
It was Kiefer. His voice was like thunder, echoing through the hall.
I looked up… and my heart leapt. He was there. Perfect, determined, furious, and alive.
He strode across the hall, ignoring everyone around him. Guests gasped, whispers ran through the crowd, but I didn't care.
.
"Kiefer…" I whispered, tears streaming down my face. Relief, joy, and disbelief all mixed into one.
"You will not marry her. Not today. Not ever," he said, his voice low but deadly. His eyes were locked on mine. His hand reached for mine, and I grabbed it without hesitation.
"I… I can't…" I choked out, feeling the weight of the moment.
"I love you, Jay. Only you. You are mine. And I will not let anyone take you from me—not your parents, not a rich family, no one," he said, his jaw tight with determination.
And then… he pulled out a small velvet box from his pocket. My eyes went wide as he opened it to reveal a sparkling ring.
.
"Jay… will you marry me? Here. Now. Before anyone else can interfere," he said.
I was trembling. The world had narrowed down to just the two of us. I nodded, unable to speak. Tears blurred my vision, but my heart screamed yes.
He slid the ring onto my finger. Gasps echoed across the hall. My parents froze. The guests murmured, shocked.
Even Kiefer's mother stood frozen, her eyes wide in disbelief.
"I… I don't care what anyone says. She is my life," Kiefer continued, pulling me into his arms. "And today, you are mine—only mine."
I clung to him, heart racing, every fear and doubt washed away in that instant.
"I..it's a lo..tuuus my favorite flower "I asked keif in disbelief.
"Did you really think I'll give you a normal ring "
Kiefer's POV
I refused to let anyone take her from me.
Not my mother. Not her parents. Not the world.
She is mine. And today, I proved it.
Even if the entire world opposed us, I would not budge.
