Chapter 253 - 253: Reverse Cursed Technique

"Interesting, very interesting," Gojo murmured to himself.

"This physical ability, this level of control... he's practically built for combat. Looks like I hit the jackpot."

He couldn't help but wonder who would come out on top between a Heavenly Restriction user and Sol.

As for why Sol was so extraordinary, he didn't dwell on it. To someone like Gojo Satoru, the appearance of a potentially fascinating equal was far more exciting than uncovering every secret behind it.

"Alright, alright!" Gojo clapped his hands, pulling everyone's attention back to him. "Test's over! As for the results, I think everyone saw them. Sol performed exceptionally well."

Walking over, he casually draped an arm around Sol's shoulders.

"Looks like you've got one ridiculous body. From now on, you'll be the physical benchmark for the first years. Make sure you set a good example for your classmates."

Sol simply nodded.

Yuji Itadori pushed himself up from the ground and approached him, his eyes filled with admiration.

"Sol, you're amazing! Please teach me from now on! I want to become as strong as you!"

Nobara Kugisaki finally recovered as well. Although clearly unwilling to admit defeat, she crossed her arms and clicked her tongue.

"Tsk. Fine, maybe I underestimated you. But don't think I'm giving up."

Megumi Fushiguro looked at Sol for a moment before speaking.

"You're strong."

Watching the interaction, Gojo's mood visibly improved.

"Well then, that's it for today's training. This afternoon is theory class, so don't be late. Dismissed!"

Humming cheerfully, he strolled away first.

Yuji and Nobara helped each other toward the dorms while Megumi followed behind at his usual pace.

The afternoon theory lesson took place inside a traditional Japanese-style classroom.

Sunlight filtered through the shoji doors, casting warm patches of light across the floor.

Gojo sat cross-legged at the front of the room. Ancient scrolls and modern teaching materials were scattered around him, making him look less like an instructor and more like someone casually hosting a tea gathering.

Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara sat properly, doing their best to appear attentive.

Sol sat beside the window, quietly observing Gojo.

"Alright, afternoon class starts now!" Gojo announced with a clap. "Being a jujutsu sorcerer isn't just about muscles. You need brains too. Of course, geniuses like your teacher, who have both, are extremely rare."

Ignoring the deadpan looks he received, he continued.

"Today we'll cover one of the most important fundamentals, the flow and control of Cursed Energy."

"Cursed Energy comes from negative emotions, but when using it, you need to control it as steadily as possible. Sounds contradictory, right? That's what makes jujutsu interesting."

Gojo explained the generation and circulation of Cursed Energy, how it gathered within the body, and how it could be released through techniques or direct output.

His explanations were surprisingly easy to understand, accompanied by exaggerated gestures and dramatic demonstrations.

Yuji listened with full concentration, nodding repeatedly despite occasionally looking confused.

Megumi clearly possessed prior knowledge and paid close attention throughout.

Nobara followed along while subtly moving her fingers, apparently imagining the flow of Cursed Energy.

As for Sol, he listened quietly.

Most of what Gojo explained was something he had already grasped on the night he arrived in this world.

After completing the lecture segment, Gojo patted a complicated-looking machine beside him.

"Enough theory. Let's do something practical."

"This device measures precision in Cursed Energy control. Feed your energy into it steadily. The more stable the lights are, the better your control."

Before he could finish, Sol had already walked over and placed a hand on the machine.

Whoosh.

Every indicator light illuminated simultaneously.

Not only that, each light remained perfectly stable, without even the slightest flicker.

The entire process happened so quickly that Gojo didn't even get the chance to finish his explanation.

The classroom fell silent.

Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara stared at the fully illuminated device before slowly turning toward Sol.

Gojo's smile froze.

That level of control wasn't something a beginner should possess.

Even many experienced Grade 2 and Grade 3 sorcerers couldn't achieve it.

"Uh... Sol," Gojo said carefully. "You've really never worked with Cursed Energy before?"

Sol withdrew his hand.

"I just understood it."

"...You just understood it?"

Gojo repeated the words, his tone filled with disbelief.

After years of teaching, this was the first time he had encountered something so absurd.

Still unwilling to accept it, he brought out a small training barrier generator.

"This one's harder. You have to adjust your Cursed Energy to match a specific frequency and maintain resonance."

Sol stepped forward again.

His fingertips brushed the edge of the device.

Immediately, the barrier generator emitted a soft glow.

The unstable fluctuations vanished completely.

The barrier operated even more smoothly than when Gojo had demonstrated it.

Silence returned.

Yuji's jaw nearly hit the floor.

"That's insane!"

Nobara glanced between Sol and the device.

"Is this guy actually human?"

Megumi remained expressionless, but the shock in his eyes was impossible to hide.

Gojo stared for several seconds before suddenly bursting into laughter.

"Hahaha! Interesting! This is way too interesting!"

He laughed so hard he nearly doubled over.

"Sol, you're a genuine genius! You're even more interesting than I was!"

In an instant, he appeared directly in front of Sol.

His sunglasses slid down slightly, revealing the brilliant blue glow of the Six Eyes.

The excitement in his gaze was impossible to miss.

"What about this?"

He raised one hand.

A far more intricate power began gathering within his palm.

The energy rotated and merged, completely different from ordinary Cursed Energy.

"Reverse Cursed Technique."

Gojo's voice carried a clear challenge.

"It converts negative energy into positive energy through multiplication. It's primarily used for healing and is considered one of the most difficult applications of jujutsu."

He paused dramatically.

"In simple terms, it's like... whoosh, then boom!"

The moment his demonstration ended, Sol raised his own hand.

Pure positive energy appeared in his palm.

Smooth.

Stable.

Perfect.

Its quality was so refined that it looked even gentler and more natural than Gojo's demonstration.

A warm glow illuminated Sol's face and reflected within his dark red eyes.

Gojo was completely speechless.

The smile vanished from his face.

Only shock remained.

What the hell?

He stared at the flawless Reverse Cursed Technique in Sol's palm.

Several seconds passed before he finally managed to speak.

"...You're kidding."

Learning basic Cursed Energy manipulation after seeing it once was already outrageous.

But Reverse Cursed Technique?

A skill so difficult that even talented sorcerers spent years trying to master it?

And Sol had copied it after a single demonstration?

Gojo suddenly recalled his own experience.

Back then, he had nearly died before finally grasping Reverse Cursed Technique.

Meanwhile, Sol looked as if he had just learned how to turn on a light switch.

For the first time in a very long while, Gojo Satoru felt genuinely stunned.
