Chapter 256 - 256: Infinity

Gojo waved his phone lightly.

"I just received a supervision mission. A Grade 3 Cursed Spirit is causing trouble in downtown Tokyo's commercial district. Good chance for practical training. Yuji, Nobara, Megumi, you three are going."

Yuji blinked. "Huh? Sol isn't coming?"

Gojo grinned casually. "Sol needs opponents that are a little more interesting. The three of you can handle something this small easily. Besides, sending too many people would attract unnecessary attention. I already have something else planned for him."

Although slightly disappointed, Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi still looked eager. After receiving the mission details, the three quickly left together.

Only Gojo and Sol remained inside the dojo.

"Come on, Sol," Gojo said with a mysterious smile. "I'm taking you somewhere fun."

Sol simply followed behind him without asking questions.

Gojo did not bother with transportation.

He casually grabbed Sol's shoulder.

In the next instant, the surrounding scenery distorted violently. Space itself seemed to fold inward as everything stretched and twisted around them.

After a brief sensation of weightlessness, the environment completely changed.

The peaceful mountain campus of Tokyo Jujutsu High had vanished.

Instead, they stood inside a massive ruined training ground filled with craters, collapsed structures, and scorched earth. The air carried the scent of smoke and destruction, while broken building frames stood in the distance like abandoned skeletons.

Sol slowly looked around.

"This place used to be part of Tokyo Jujutsu High," Gojo explained casually. "Now it's mainly used for high-level cursed technique testing and combat training. It's isolated, durable, and big enough that nobody complains when things get destroyed."

He walked toward the center of the open field before turning back toward Sol.

"This place is perfect for your training."

The playful smile on his face faded slightly, replaced by genuine interest.

"Your fundamentals are ridiculous. Physical ability, cursed energy control, combat sense, learning speed, everything about you is abnormal. Normal training won't help much anymore."

Dangerous cursed energy began gathering around Gojo's fingertips.

"So attack me."

His grin returned.

"Don't hold back. Use everything you've got and show me where your limits are. Don't worry, Sensei's Infinity is pretty tough."

Sol looked at him silently.

He understood exactly what Gojo wanted.

Gojo planned to personally test his strength, speed, cursed energy output, and overall combat capability in order to build a specialized training method around him.

Honestly, Sol found the idea interesting.

He also wanted to experience just how troublesome the Limitless technique truly was.

So he nodded.

His figure suddenly blurred.

It was not pure speed.

His movement carried a strange rhythm, almost like he blended into the surrounding airflow itself. In an instant, he crossed the distance between them and threw a punch directly at Gojo's face.

The force behind it created a sharp burst in the air.

Behind his sunglasses, Gojo's Six Eyes sharpened slightly.

He did not dodge.

Bang.

Sol's fist stopped less than a centimeter away from Gojo's face.

An invisible barrier blocked the attack completely.

It felt as though his punch had struck an endlessly expanding layer of space. The closer it approached, the slower it became until all force vanished entirely.

"Nice," Gojo praised casually. "That level of physical ability already surpasses most Grade 1 sorcerers."

Sol withdrew his fist and immediately changed attacks.

Kick.

Elbow.

Knee strike.

Every movement flowed naturally into the next. His attacks targeted precise openings from impossible angles, relentless and efficient.

Yet none of them reached Gojo.

Infinity stopped every strike perfectly.

Gojo remained standing in place, relaxed enough to comment during the exchange.

"Excellent control, perfect timing, absurd combat awareness. Seriously, what kind of monster are you?"

Then his grin widened.

"Now try cursed energy."

Sol stepped back slightly.

Dark red cursed energy condensed above his palm, compressing rapidly until the surrounding air trembled under the pressure.

Then he thrust his hand forward.

A violent blast of cursed energy exploded outward like a cannon.

This time, Gojo's expression sharpened slightly.

He raised one hand.

"Red."

Boom.

An overwhelming repulsive force erupted instantly.

The two attacks collided head-on.

The explosion tore through the training ground, sending debris and dust flying in every direction while the earth cracked beneath the impact.

When the smoke cleared, Gojo still stood untouched.

Not even his uniform had wrinkled.

He flexed his hand lightly while staring at Sol with growing excitement.

"Your cursed energy output is insane. Pure, dense, and ridiculously refined. Honestly, it almost matches the destructive pressure of Red itself."

His smile widened further.

"Come on, show me more."

Gojo's eyes gleamed with anticipation.

For the first time in a long while, he genuinely wanted to see someone's limit.

Sol looked amused.

Then he slowly raised his right hand.

His fingers spread apart.

Something changed.

A strange force began gathering around his fingertips, something completely different from cursed energy. It felt colder, heavier, and more primal.

The air itself became oppressive.

It was not cursed energy.

It was something closer to interference, a force that rejected and distorted rules themselves.

Gojo immediately noticed the difference.

The smile on his face faded.

Behind his sunglasses, the Six Eyes narrowed carefully.

For the first time since this spar began, genuine caution appeared in his expression.

"What exactly is that?" he muttered quietly.

Sol did not answer.

He merely compressed the power further into a single point at his fingertip.

A heavily suppressed fragment of negation, originating from his divine nature.

Then Sol disappeared again.

This movement felt even stranger than before.

It was not speed.

It looked more like he slipped through space itself.

Instantly, he appeared directly in front of Gojo.

His fingertip touched the invisible barrier surrounding him.

Infinity.

This time, there was no violent collision.

No explosion.

No shockwave.

Only a faint sound.

Crack.

Like glass beginning to fracture.

Gojo's smile disappeared completely.
