Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: No Mood in the Morning

Luo Cheng thought back to the handbook. The first page read: [Tokai Teio's Race Schedule].

Originally, he had thought someone else had arranged Teio's races, but given the current situation, his entry into this "reality" might be linked to that manual. In the Debut Race training section, the start date was today. There was also an end date listed.

Is my stay in this world only temporary? Will I have to go back? Is this really reality?

Luo Cheng felt a sudden chill. He felt as though he was living in a half-real, half-fake world—a world that looked normal but was actually controlled by an even more sophisticated system. In gaming terms, he had entered a "cutscene."

He was still just a "Player."

"Teio!"

"Yes!"

"Take off your clothes."

Tokai Teio blinked. "Huh?"

"Hurry up. Undress. I want to see."

"Wait... Trainer, asking me to suddenly undress is too weird! What are you doing!"

"I just want to see."

"Ehh??" Teio stared at him with her big, adorable blue eyes.

Actually, before he had fallen asleep on Teio's lap last night, Luo Cheng had done some "preparatory work." He had left a few "strawberries"—hickeys—on her perfectly sized chest. If this was a cutscene, her body should still bear those marks.

Seeing the resolute look on Luo Cheng's face, Teio looked conflicted. She bit her lip and slowly began to undress.

The sound of Teio's heavy breathing filled the room. Soon, she was down to nothing but her snow-white underwear. Her supple, rosy skin and the unique fragrance of a young girl made her look like an enticing dessert waiting to be tasted. She crossed her arms tightly over her chest, a lovely flush spreading across her pale cheeks.

"Why does it have to be in the office? Wouldn't your room be better... what if someone sees?" Teio grumbled, but she still obeyed him.

After a brief moment of admiring her delicate form, Luo Cheng got down to business. He inspected her pale shoulders and rounded chest. There, he saw faint red marks.

"...Teio, what happened here?"

Looking at the strange pink spots on her body, Teio looked confused. After thinking for a moment, she shook her head. "I don't know. Maybe I pressed against something while I was sleeping?"

Sleeping could cause marks on your chest? Are you a stomach sleeper?

You wouldn't normally choose a "doggy style" position to sleep in by yourself, would you? Have you already made it a habit!

Luo Cheng didn't quite buy it.

"Trainer, how much longer are you going to stare!" Teio's shame was reaching its limit. Her Trainer was staring so intently at her chest that she was starting to feel a restless itch.

Either let me get dressed or put your hands on me! What's with just staring? You're not touching me or doing anything else, just leaving me like this.

Do you like seeing me embarrassed!? I'm really going to get mad! If you don't take me, I'm going to take you! Teio felt a surge of boldness.

"I'm done."

"Eh? We're not doing anything else?"

"Not now... for the moment."

Luo Cheng's attention wasn't on that right now. Besides, he wasn't really in the mood so early in the morning. He was game for it at night, though—that was his nightly "required course."

Teio puffed out her cheeks and silently got dressed. She was shy, sure, but seeing her Trainer so disinterested in her was infuriating! I, Teio, am very charming, okay! She felt a bit piqued.

A sudden thought crossed her mind: Maybe I should just take him by force. There was no logic to it; Teio just felt that she could do whatever she wanted to her Trainer. He was her property—something that belonged to her and her alone. It had been that way since they signed the contract. She could use him however she pleased.

"The Debut Race, right? How much time do we have?"

"One month."

Luo Cheng rummaged through the desk and found the training schedule he had drafted. It was something he had tinkered with out of boredom, using the training books on the desk. Now that he was faced with a living, breathing Tokai Teio, he decided to temporarily immerse himself in this semi-fictional world. Even if he didn't know what was going on, he wanted to experience the feeling of a normal life.

He was truly fed up with that aimless game world.

"Today, we train according to this plan."

"Okay..." Teio looked at Luo Cheng's strangely disappointed expression and took his hand. "Trainer, come with me to buy horseshoes. For the Debut Race."

She felt something was off with his expression, as if he had something on his mind.

"Horseshoes... Hm!? We can go outside?"

"Of course we can. Why wouldn't we be able to?"

They could go out!?

Luo Cheng's heart gave a violent throb. He didn't have that ability in the game world; he was completely imprisoned within Tracen Academy, unable to step even a millimeter past the walls. If he could have gone out, he wouldn't have been as frustrated as he was now. He had wanted to see the outside world for a long time.

"Let's go!"

After being trapped in Tracen for over a hundred days, Luo Cheng could finally step through the school gates! This realization reignited his dampened spirits.

Putting on his coat, he stepped into the hallway. Seeing the students passing by, he habitually offered a greeting: "Good morning, little fillies."

Upon seeing Luo Cheng, the horse girls' faces suddenly took on a faint blush. They lowered their heads and whispered, "Good morning, Trainer..." before scurrying away as if embarrassed.

Oho? This is interesting.

Previously, when he greeted them, they only gave a robotic response. Now, they had emotions and unique gestures. Had the "artificial idiots" evolved?

Luo Cheng greeted everyone he met, savoring this novel experience. Soon, he ran into one of the few horse girls he actually liked in Tracen. She was known as both the "Lazy Queen" and the "Sleeping Beauty"—Seiun Sky.

Her mint-green short hair swayed in the breeze, and her sky-blue eyes held a gentle luster. Not only was she lovely to look at, but her soft cheeks always made one want to reach out and give them a squeeze.

Seeing Luo Cheng, Seiun Sky walked over. "Yahho~ Luo Cheng-san, good morning."

"Good morning, green kitty-cat."

Her way of greeting was still as unique as ever. Even in the game world, she had a distinct personality that stood out from the others. In a galgame, she would definitely be one of the conquerable heroines.

Besides her unique greeting, her behavior was also special. Luo Cheng would occasionally find her napping in the bushes. That scene felt like triggering an outdoor CG, giving him a sense of joy like unlocking a new area. One of his few pastimes back then was searching for Seiun Sky to see where she was sleeping and what new "pose" he could discover.

Because of this, Seiun Sky had the highest affection rating among those he hadn't fully maxed out. It was somewhere in the eighties, approaching ninety.

"Is Trainer going out? Any interest in joining Sei-chan for a nap when you get back?"

"Sure, if you want to sle—"

"Trainer is coming with me. He doesn't have time for you," Tokai Teio interjected, pulling Luo Cheng away toward the exit.
