Chapter 1 - Life Story of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

Life Story of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born in 570 CE in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. His father, Abdullah ibn Abd al-Muttalib, died before he was born, and his mother, Aminah bint Wahb, passed away when he was six years old. After that, he was raised by his grandfather Abd al-Muttalib and later by his uncle Abu Talib.

As a young man, Muhammad (PBUH) worked as a merchant and was known for his honesty and trustworthiness. People called him "Al-Amin," meaning the trustworthy one. At the age of 25, he married a respected and wealthy widow, Khadija bint Khuwaylid.

When he was 40 years old, he received the first revelation from Allah through the angel Gabriel in the cave of Hira Cave. This was the beginning of Islam and the revelation of the Qur'an.

Muhammad (PBUH) began preaching the message of one God (Allah) and called people to justice, kindness, and worship of Allah alone. Many people in Mecca opposed him and his followers. Due to persecution, he and his companions migrated from Mecca to Medina in 622 CE. This migration is known as the Hijra and marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar.

In Medina, he established a strong Muslim community and spread the message of Islam. After several years, he returned to Mecca and peacefully conquered the city in 630 CE.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) passed away in 632 CE in Medina at the age of 63. His teachings and the Qur'an continue to guide millions of Muslims around the world.

✅ In summary: Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) lived a life of honesty, patience, and devotion to Allah, and he spread the message of Islam to humanity.
