"Good morning, James." A red-haired girl said to me, making me lift my head up. Her name was Coraline Johnson, my girlfriend of two years.
"Good morning, Coraline," I said with a smile as I stood up and kissed her. My last year of high school was going to be amazing. Both of us planned to attend the same college after we graduated.
As we shared our moment, someone spoke. "Why don't you leave that loser, Coraline? Be my girlfriend instead, after all, I am the star football player of the school and am destined to be a pro player." His words drew out cheers from the girls. His name was Darius Washington, and he had always made it his life's work to mess with me.
I was about to speak when Coraline stopped me before kissing me and whispering into my ear. "Don't worry about him, I won't go anywhere." She said, making me sigh, knowing she was out of my league and that I was lucky to have her as my girlfriend.
The classroom door opened as the sound of high heels hitting the floor rang out, and the teacher walked inside. Her name was Mrs. Thomson, and she was a kind and respected teacher. No student hated her, and her looks put anyone to shame. Her long blonde hair stopped at her hips.
She was wearing a tight dress with a slit up halfway on her thigh. "Okay, everyone, please take you-" As she was about to finish speaking, a circle spread out across the ground covering the whole room.
I grabbed a hold of Coraline, and she smiled as I held her, before a blinding light took away my ability to keep my eyes open. As we held each other for a few moments, we heard voices.
"So many? With them, this war should be easier." I had heard some voices that sounded like older men. Opening my eyes as I looked around, I saw that we were now standing in a grand hall with painted glass windows. They had pictures of monsters and humans fighting as everyone started to talk.
"James, where are we?" Coraline asked me, making me shake my head as I spoke.
"I don't know, it looks like medieval times as they are using torchlight and dressed like knights," I said, looking around, when a voice spoke out.
"I know you are confused, but please try to calm yourself. I will explain what is going on." Said a girl who looked about our age, wearing a gown and had a small crown on her head.
"I am the third princess Lyralei Imperialia, of the Imperialia Empirer. You have been summoned because another Empirer threatens ours; we have been unable to beat them and had to use a forbidden spell to summon heroes." She said as a group of people in robes moved a giant crystal ball into the room.
"Since you were summoned, you would have awakened a class and skills. Classes are ranked into three groups, broken into three rankings. Holy, Evil, and Chaotic class groups. The Holy and Evil classes are welcome, but the Chaotic class is labeled forbidden. As for rankings, you have a normal class, then it upgrades to Holy or Evil depending on your deeds. Followed by Divine or Wicked after that, meaning the person had reached the peak of their class." She said.
"What about the Chaotic class? What are their levels?" Someone asked, making everyone silent as the Princess spoke.
"We only know of the middle level; the nations kill any Chaotic class that comes to be before it gets too strong." She said before changing the subject.
"Then there are Titles; these are very special gifts from the Gods and Goddesses. Meaning the one who has it is destined to become something that stands at the top of the world. There are only five Title holders in the world." She said, looking out the window with longing.
"Please line up to check your class, and if you have a Title." She said as someone finally spoke up.
"Will we be able to return home?" They asked, making her shake her head and bow.
"I am sorry, but you won't be able to return, but fear not. Since we have summoned you against your will, the Empirer will pay you more than enough to live a comfortable life as long as we are still an Empirer." She said.
Everyone knew that her words meant that we would only be taken care of as long as we helped them not fall. "I want to see what I have," Darius said with a grin as he tied back his dreads with a bandana.
He walked over, placing his hand on the ball, and words started to show up. "Paladin," He had no title, but the eyes of the Princess showed us that Paladin was a very good class.
"Amazing, Paladin was ranked high on normal classes. And when they increase into Holy or Evil, they become even stronger. This was ranked in the top ten classes." Lyralei said as she smiled at Darius, making him smirk at her as he looked her up and down.
Lyralei was a beauty in her own right, her blonde hair in a bun, but you could tell it would reach down her back if it were undone. Her green eyes sparkled as another person stepped forward and placed their hand on it.
It was a blacksmith class, as she explained, Blacksmiths can forge holy and evil Weapons and Armor to help the wielder of those rankings. There were about 45 students, most of whom had fighting classes, with 15 being Profession classes. It was Coraline's turn as she placed her hand onto the ball.
It shone brightly, making the Princess gasp. "Saintess is ranked in the top five of the holy and evil classes." She said happily, we could tell the Princess was overjoyed with this information.
I looked at Coraline with a smile as she turned around and smiled at me. As she was about to walk back to me, the Princess stopped her and asked her to stand by her and Darius. Seeing this made something in my chest tighten, and a tingle on the back of my neck as something boiled up inside my gut.
What was the ominous feeling building up inside me? "Are you the last one?" The Princess said with a smile as I nodded and walked to the crystal ball, placing my hand on it, and it flickered and went static before showing nothing.
"CLASSESLESS!" People yelled out and backed up. I looked around, wondering what was going on, but I could see disgust inside the Princess's eyes.
"Someone who is Classesless is cursed by the gods and goddesses as not being wanted by either side." She said, then turned away from me and talked to everyone else as guards pulled me away, making me stand with the others.
"If you think the words 'Open Statue', you will see your abilities and skills along with your level and the level of your class. Once your Class level reaches 100, it will upgrade to the next one and so forth. Until you reach the peak." She said.
I wanted to call out to Coraline, but the Princess and the knights were between us, making me give up on the idea as I pulled up my statues.

I looked at the Title part and was confused. If it were empty, why wouldn't it show up as Empty, like my class? If it was messed up, why didn't it show up on the crystal ball? I felt like something wasn't right here. "Excuse me, but can a Title be hidden?" I asked a knight who scuffed.
"No, they can't, and stop acting like you have one tainted one." He said before ignoring me.
"Excuse me, but what are the normal numbers for stats in this world at Level 1?" someone asked, making the Princess smile as she answered.
"It's normal for people when they awaken to be as low as 50 in their states, with the talented ones being 75 in their stats. Since you are all summoned, you should be above average or even close to talented." She said, making my heart drop.
I wasn't even at the minimum of this world, what is going on? "Excuse me, can a person have skills without a class?" I asked the Princess, making her nose twitch for a split second before speaking.
"No, if you don't have a class, you can't have skills or train for skills." She said as everyone started to burst into laughter.
"See, Coraline, you should dump that loser and be with me. We are both at the top of the class; it's only fitting." Darius said as he put his arm around her waist, only for her to push it away and walk towards me, ignoring the Princess who was about to stop her.
"I love him for who he is, not because of some stupid class." She said with a gentle smile, " Oh, how I wish that look never changed. But I didn't know the cruelty of humans.
