Chapter One: The Day of the First Shock

The sun was barely breaking the horizon in Orin, a city ruled by the strong, where the weak had no value.
The air in the academy was thick with the cacophony of voices: the shouts of instructors and the laughter of the powerful students at those who couldn't defend themselves.
Adam stood on the wooden platform of the training ground, his head bowed, his heart pounding.
He was the youngest student in the academy, and the weakest.
He had no strength, no speed. All he possessed was a feeble will and a desperate desire to survive.
Instructor Raven, a massive man with a voice like a volcano, stepped forward and placed his hand on the crystal ball that measured each student's strength.
"Next!" he said in a gruff voice.
Adam trembled, then slowly advanced.
The students gathered around him, and a chorus of mockery rose: "Look, the loser has arrived."
"Didn't the academy tell us this year was full of weaklings?" They all laughed, each laugh like a knife to his heart.
The instructor raised his hand. "Hit the crystal. Now."
Adam raised his fist and hit the crystal with all his might… which was practically nothing.
The impact caused the crystal to shake, and a number appeared on the screen:
Strength: 1
Everyone paused for a second, then the students burst into laughter:
"Hahaha! What is this?!"
"Smaller than last year!"
Adam fell to his knees, afraid the instructor would laugh too, but nothing happened… The silence was eerie.
Then, suddenly, he felt something strange in his head.
A quiet but clear voice:
[Suitable Host Detected]
[System Activating…]
[Activated: Crowd Shock System]
His heart skipped a beat. A transparent, floating tablet appeared before him, glowing a deep blue:
Host: Adam
Shock Points: 0
Below it, another message appeared:
First Mission: Shock 5 people. Reward: Random Skill.
Adam smiled for the first time in years, a strange feeling of exhilaration filling his chest.
"Are you saying my life is about to change?" he whispered to himself.
He glanced around at the students who were laughing at him.
"Let's start with you…" he said calmly, but with deadly determination.
At that very moment, something unexpected happened.
Adam raised his fist again, but this time he didn't strike the crystal.
He looked at a huge student named Kieran, the strongest fighter in the academy, and smiled slightly.
The students stopped laughing. Their instructor, Raven, raised his eyebrows in surprise, as if something extraordinary was about to happen.
Adam stepped forward to Kieran and said,
"Do you want to see something no one has ever seen before?"
Before Kieran could reply, Oren Academy felt a sudden shift in energy.
The air grew heavy, as if something was about to happen… a shock unlike anything the academy had ever witnessed.
In an instant, Adam Kieran landed a single, simple blow… but the ground shook, the students screamed, and Coach Raven backed away.
Applying the Triple Shock System:
• Shock Size: One blow to the strongest student → 50 points
• Number of people shocked: Approximately 200 students → Multiplied by 10
• Level of the person shocked: Highest level against Adam → Multiplied by 10
Total Shock Points = 50 x 10 x 10 = 5000 Shock Points
The system board lit up, recording:
[Total Shock Points: 5000]
[Bonus Received: Rare Skill – "The Crushing Blow"]
Adam felt a strange change in his body… Power surged through him, his muscles stiffened, his movements faster than ever.
The students smiled, some in shock, some in fear, and Coach Raven couldn't believe his eyes.
Adam said calmly,
"Well… this is just the beginning."
