I hold onto the king of ashes back as the plague of steel gives orders
"its likely sunless won't survive"
I disagree, its close to impossible to kill that idiot

I peak out from behind his back tossing out a few daggers made of ice, each time they hit a deathless they explode into bigger blooms of ice. I turn my head up
"theres going to be another spirit soon. I'll deal with it"
the king of ashes turns his head slightly
"do i stay with you?"
I snort
"of course not. Your ability to amplify flames is most useful around nephis."
The plague of steel scoffs
"you can not win against a spirit as a supreme"
I chuckle to myself
"before I even awakened i was fighting fallen beasts, I even killed a fallen demon. Two ranks is lower then one"
gods how does a skeleton look annoyed?
"You all lie a lot"
i finally hop off of his back instead of landing i stay in the air flying.
"None of it is a lie. When you do escape the hell of Ariel, you can read up on some of my people's past. You'll find we've killed a few cursed ones, oh hell I'm probably the only supreme of my realm that hasn't"

neph sighs shaking her head. I nod to the three idiot then fly forward. Over the heads of the many deathless as they reach for me. I wonder, if she was here could entropy reawaken the deathless minds? I summon my daggers slamming right into the spirit. I lift the two daggers stabbing them into it. I active the beetle enchantment on one. I swing around onto its back still stabbing. I got this, it isnt too hard. I get grabbed by the back and almost slammed into the ground, only saving myself by turning into ice. I freeze its legs as I reform myself not far away. I stay low to the ground, one hand on it ready to move. I duck to the side as it escapes the ice and strikes at me. I skate around it striking at its legs mostly. I can survive this!
When the day finally comes I limp over to the group.
"Hey"
I hand my arm to the plague of steel
"can you put this into place?"
He nods pressing it into place. He glances up at sunny
"Well, well. You really did survive a battle with the Archon, Shadow. Good job distracting him... and managing to escape him, as well."
He let's go and i flex my arm
"same to you snow. Maybe you aren't a disappointment to the original snow king."
Sunny grins at him, it comes off as incredibly smug and another little mischievous prank i see
"Huh? Who said that I escaped from the Archon?"
The plague of steel shoulders drop slightly as if getting ready for some tall tale.
"Would you be alive now otherwise?"
The tone he uses is that of pure annoyanc.
"No, I mean... I did not have to escape, because I wiped that thing out. There's no trace of it left in this desert anymore — not even a single bone. The Archon only exists as a memory now, so... I suggest you forget about him."
i swear if the plague of steel had eyes they would be twitching
"That can't be true." Sunny laughs slightly still with that shit eating grin "Why? I didn't even need a weapon to deal with that guy — I did him in with a needle. In fact, I just told him something like... you're dismissed. And poof! He exploded."
the plague of steel scoffs. Ohhhh I get it, wait what the fuck?

How the hell did sunny turn a spirit into a memory. Gods damn it thats too overpowered. I got beat the hell up!

The king of ashes does a thumbs up from the ground. Why is he on the ground. I walk over and I tap him a few times with my foot. "Whats your problem big guy?"
He opens his eyes
"i tired of this. I know fighting the nightmare spawn would be worse but still."
The plague of steel looks over
"okay im done with this, who is this 'nightmare spawn' exactly? You mentioned him having heart god and being unkillable, but everything else has been not but small comments about him"
i shrug
"he's a child abandoning annoying piece of shit"
neph sighs
"and one of my father's murders"
i gesture to her
"and that too. Either way he's weird, he's eaten people.... i probably can't be saying anything about that... but still the guy is real annoying this ever present grin and the whole mind control thing"
I notice everyone staring at me
"what?"
Neph tilts her head
"please explain what came after the eating people comment"
I shrug
"i tried to eat some of the skinwalker once. It tasted bad, like anything else I cooked. Tasted kinda like pork, but like worse and too chewy"
The plague of steel lets out a long and heavy sigh. Sunny snorts clearly thinking im not telling the truth, the king of ashes turns his head away knowing him he probably ate someone while corrupted, neph just stares at me in disbelief
"oh come on, thats not even top 10 worst things any of us here have done! Hell its not even the worst thing any of us have eaten"
sunny goes to talk
