The world as we see today, dominated by humans was not always like this to begin with. At least that's how science descibes it.
The land as well as the sky which we dominate now with our intellect and technological tools has been ruled by different creatures since millions of years.
It's not that the world is our to own. It's just our turn to govern it and rule.
Raven also kinda believed in that because that sounded logical, right?
However! After going through the knowledge in his brain gained from that other soul, Raven started doubting this theory.
Although he still couldn't completely access all the information, he could still partially see some in small amounts like a title and a description of a movie insted of watching the whole movie.
Things like names of different worlds, planes, secret realms, continents, kingdoms , dynasties, sects, guilds, organisations, groups were commonplace in his mind palace.
That's right!!
Raven finally decided to give the " knowledge " inheritance he received a name. And yes, the opportunity he received could be called an inheritance as well.
The name he settled for this lucrative " knowledge " inheritance is " MIND PALACE " !!
And he didn't chose this name just because it sounds cool or something, which it indeed does. He choose this name because there's a palace in his brain now.
Exactly! There's a literal tangible palace in his mind or brain or soul whatever it could be called, raven has no idea for now. He only discovered it accidentally while trying to be all cool and mysterious.
At that time, he was trying to figure out benefits he had received but had no idea where to start. So he thought of that scene from Sherlock Homeless series where the mc tries to access his memories from his brain by creating a virtual mind palace in his mind, to make it easier to find certain memories.
Raven tried copying that move and BAM! The next moment he was in this Mysterious White space.

" Huh?!!? WHAT THE HECK?? What hapened ? where am I? How did I end up here....?? "
I was cut mid sentence expressing my shock due to the sight in front of me. Or rather, one could say, because of the impossibly beautiful landscape presented before me.
I was suspended in the void with nothing to stand on and yet, I was somehow in control of my body. I could move however I want with a mere thought.
The void around me was not black as one would expect but a vast expanse of white nothingness. It was just white as far as the eye could see.
And at the centre of this space was a Landmass I could only descibe as an immortal continent or a Heaven floting silently. Enchanting colorful mist surrounded the whole continent making it hard to see far inside. Sparkling and clear blueish silver water cascaded down the edges of the floating island falling to who knows where making the spectacle mysterious and serene.
I could see towering mountains and vast lush green forests with rivers snaking in-between them through the colorful mist now and then.
And at the centre of it all was another landmass floating silently inthe sky as if it was not even a part of this ecosystem. And how could it be with how it was filled with golden and shimmering palace complexes?
It was a pity though that I couldn't see everthing clearly because of the constantly moving colorful mist surrounding the floating paradise. However, since I could move with my thoughts alone, I had this idea of going closer to the landmass and maybe even enter through the mist....for curiosity's sake!
Unfortunately, things hardly go as planned unless u weild absolute power. As soon as the though of entering the island crossed my mind, the whole space started shaking again. And along with that came the shaking of that massive continent in front of me.
....
Even Raven, floating in that empty space far away for that continent could feel the tremors increasing in strenfth and frequency and he couldn't help but panic. After all, unlike that dream he had a week ago, this time he wasn't sure if this was actually happening or he was in a dream again.
Before he could try to go back from where he came here, the trembling suddenly stopped. For a moment it felt like time stopped moving. The mist surrounding the island, the water falling from it's edges, the radiance of the golden palace complex , everthing froze in place.
Then 'it' happened!
The magnificent and vast floating landmass, which Raven even felt was an immortal continent started shrinking and collapsing on itself. It was like there was a black hole in the centre devouring all the mountains and forests and rivers and even the land and sky itself.
It all happened in an instant. When Raven blinked again, there was no floating continent here. All that was left in this vast White space was that another landmass floating in the centre of the continent filled with golden palaces.
It even for a moment felt like what Raven saw was all a dream and there was no continent here in this space to begin with. The disappearance was just so sudden. However, Raven was sure it was not a dream and the continent was here. It's just that it has dissappeared now leaving only the much smaller but grander and mysterious floating land.
" So.....?? What am I supposed to now ? "
In that empty space, Raven wondered aloud.
