Hearing Valeria's report, Leticia's gaze slowly shifted from the infinite tenderness while staring at Terrania back to the profound calmness of overseeing the sea of stars.
She carefully adjusted her posture, afraid of waking the little one sleeping on her lap.
Then, she cast her gaze toward Sanguinia, who was standing not far from the sofa.
Sanguinia understood immediately.
She stepped forward and gently took Terrania from Leticia's arms.
She held the tiny, golden figure in her arms like the most precious holy relic, wrapping her completely with her huge, warm wings, and turned to walk toward the quietest lounge at the back of the bridge.
After doing all this, Leticia slowly stood up.
The aura about her shifted once again from a gentle family member back to that goddess who strategized and decided the fate of the sea of stars.
"Fogremia, Angronia, come with me."
Leticia's voice was not loud, but it carried a natural majesty.
She took a step and walked toward the highest strategic bridge of the genesis.
That was the true "brain" of this super flagship.
The moment Leticia stepped into the strategic bridge, a torrent of information, complex enough to make any mortal's mind collapse instantly, rushed toward her.
In the center of the bridge, the huge main screen made of countless crystals displayed an incredibly chaotic scene.
The top-secret data accumulated over ten thousand years from the deepest parts of the Empire was like a burst cosmic flood, turning into a frantically scrolling waterfall composed of countless mysterious runes, star charts, bloody images, and encrypted codes.
The polluted psychic noise contained within it and the mental barriers created by countless encryption protocols intertwined and collided, forming a silent storm.
Several mortal crew members responsible for monitoring the data stream had already covered their heads in pain, blood seeping from their mouths and noses, and were being urgently carried away by medical staff.
"Goddess."
Valeria, wearing a crisp black uniform, stood before the main console and gave Leticia an impeccable military salute.
Her face also carried a hint of gravity.
"The volume of information is too vast; over ninety-nine percent of the content is covered by the Inquisition and the Mechanicus's multiple logic bombs and psychic pollution."
"Any attempt to forcefully crack it will result in the physical destruction of the analysis terminal."
Valeria reported calmly.
"Based on calculations by our existing 'Hermes'-class logic engine, without triggering any traps, it would take at least three hundred standard Terra years to fully analyze this database and filter out effective information."
These words made Angronia, who had just followed her in, frown impatiently.
"That blue turtle shell, he really didn't have good intentions!"
She cursed in a low voice.
"This isn't cooperation at all! This is a conspiracy! He gave us a treasure vault filled with trash and bombs, but didn't give us the key!"
A hint of coldness flashed in Fogremia's purple eyes.
"It is very much in line with his style of doing things: pragmatic, cautious, and always keeping the final trump card for the Empire."
This was indeed Guilliman's "conspiracy."
He fulfilled the covenant and provided intelligence.
But this intelligence was like a huge piece of gold locked in the deep sea ten thousand meters down; you could see it, but you couldn't get it.
This was a kind of arrogant showing off that belonged to the ruler of the Empire.
However, there was no surprise or anger on Leticia's face.
She slowly walked to the captain's chair, which symbolized supreme command, and sat down gracefully.
She looked at the chaotic torrent of data on the screen that mortals could not process, and simply, calmly, uttered five words.
"No analysis needed."
After speaking, she slowly closed her eyes.
The moment she closed her eyes, her supreme authority of [Intellect] was fully activated.
Deep within Leticia's pure black pupils, it was as if two nascent, brilliant nebulae containing billions of stars were instantly lit up!
Hum—!
In Leticia's spiritual world, the concepts of time and space became blurred.
The chaotic and violent torrent of data from the outside world, enough to crash supercomputers, was instantly tamed before her "Eye of Truth."
They were no longer a disorderly waterfall.
Instead, they turned into clear, shimmering rivers recording history and reality.
Ten thousand years of history flowed rapidly in her consciousness.
Countless sealed secrets were like patterns on her palm before her, no longer hidden.
She saw it.
She saw Lorgar Aurelian, that "Word Bearer" who was the first to throw himself into the embrace of Chaos, and saw his sorrow that stemmed from "faith" but eventually led to ignorance and destruction.
She saw Konrad Curze, the "Night Lords" who executed justice in the darkness, and saw how he was driven mad by the future he foresaw, eventually actively embracing death in loneliness and fear.
She saw Perturabo, that paranoid "Lord of Iron," and saw how his misunderstood talent, through repeated betrayals and neglect, twisted into a pure, meaningless desire for destruction.
These were all tragedies she would have to correct in the future.
They were all family members she would have to welcome in the future.
But... not now.
Leticia's gaze traveled through the rivers of countless possibilities.
Her goal was clear.
She needed a "key" that could reveal the deeper secrets of this universe to her.
She needed a guide who could help her understand the "source of the void," understand the "Tyranids," and even understand the "essence of Chaos."
Soon, her consciousness locked onto a ruin of history, burning with raging flames and filled with sorrow and regret.
That tragedy was named—"The Burning of Prospero."
She saw that red-skinned, lonely one-eyed giant.
The tragic king who, in order to warn his father of Horus's betrayal, did not hesitate to break the Council of Nikaea's prohibition and use forbidden psychic powers, only to be misunderstood by his father and hunted by his brothers because his good intentions led to bad outcomes.
She saw his endless pain and regret, which stemmed from his infinite love for knowledge and his paranoid pursuit of truth, but ultimately led to the destruction of his homeland and the slaughter of his progeny.
Leticia realized.
Among all the fallen Primarchs, only him.
Only Magnus.
His "sin," in its most fundamental essence, was not for power, not for revenge, and not for some illusory perfection.
It was for "love."
Love for his father, love for knowledge, love for humanity.
And, that reckless, moth-to-a-flame love for "truth" itself.
This pure desire for knowledge was exactly the power Leticia needed most right now!
"I have found him."
On the strategic bridge, Leticia slowly opened her eyes.
In her pure black pupils, the brilliant nebula had faded, leaving only a calmness and majesty like an ancient deep pool.
Her voice was not loud, but it echoed clearly in everyone's ears.
"The next one."
"The sister who will join our big family."
"She is the embodiment of knowledge, the seeker of truth."
"She is the one who, because of seeking the light, was cast into the deepest darkness..."
Leticia's voice paused, and she uttered that forbidden name in a tone that declared fate.
"...the crimson king, Magnus."
Just as Leticia spoke the name "Magnus."
The boundary between the real universe and the Subspace.
At an unknown coordinate, wrapped in countless impossible geometries and shifting colors.
Deep within Chaos God Tzeentch's Crystal Labyrinth.
In that castle that could not exist, built of nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine kinds of lies and conspiracies.
The Lord of Change, that eye that forever understood the past, present, and future, suddenly turned.
A silver-shimmering thread that maintained the fate of "Prospero," which it held tightly in its hand, trembled violently without warning.
As if a hand from outside the chessboard was about to reach for its most precious and interesting piece.
