Ebhabe Fire Asha Jai – Part 12

(An Emotional and Interesting Story – About 1000 Words)

The soft golden light of the evening slowly entered the room through the window. Meghla stood quietly on the balcony, looking at the wide sky. The clouds were slowly floating away, and the cool breeze touched her face gently. But her mind was somewhere far away, lost in memories.

Arnob had been standing behind her for a long time. He noticed that Meghla had been silent the entire day.

Finally, he walked closer and softly said,

"Meghla, why are you so quiet today?"

Meghla slowly turned her head and gave a faint smile.

"It's nothing… I was just thinking about the past."

Arnob leaned on the balcony railing beside her.

"You mean those difficult days?"

Meghla looked at him. Her eyes were calm but deep with emotion.

"Yes. There was a time when I thought we would never be together again. Everything felt broken."

Arnob gently held her hand.

"But look at us now. Life gave us another chance."

For a moment, both of them stayed silent. The sky slowly turned darker as evening turned into night.

Just then, their little daughter, Mithi, ran toward them excitedly.

"Baba! Ma! Guess what happened today!"

Meghla laughed and bent down to her level.

"What happened, Mithi?"

Mithi proudly showed a small golden badge.

"I got first prize in the drawing competition at school!"

Arnob immediately picked her up and spun her around.

"That's amazing! My daughter is an artist just like her mother!"

Meghla smiled warmly. Seeing her daughter so happy filled her heart with peace. It felt like all the pain of the past had slowly faded away.

Later that night, the three of them sat together for dinner. The house felt warm and full of quiet happiness.

While eating, Arnob suddenly said something that surprised Meghla.

"I have been thinking about something."

Meghla looked at him.

"What is it?"

Arnob took a deep breath.

"I want us to build a new house."

Meghla looked confused.

"A new house? Why?"

Arnob smiled.

"Because I want a place where our future memories will grow. A house where Mithi will grow up, where we will laugh, celebrate, and grow old together."

Meghla's eyes became slightly moist.

"This house also has many memories, Arnob."

"Yes," Arnob replied gently, "but sometimes a new beginning makes life even more beautiful."

Meghla did not argue. Deep inside, she liked the idea too.

Over the next few days, Arnob became very busy. He started searching for land and planning the design of the new house.

Every evening he returned home tired but hopeful.

One evening, Meghla noticed something strange.

Arnob looked worried.

He was sitting silently on the sofa, staring at nothing.

Meghla slowly walked toward him.

"Arnob… is something wrong?"

Arnob forced a smile.

"No, nothing serious."

But Meghla knew him well.

"You're hiding something."

Arnob stayed silent for a moment.

Finally he spoke softly.

"There is a small problem at the office."

Meghla felt a sudden fear.

"What kind of problem?"

Arnob tried to sound calm.

"The company is going through some financial issues. Some departments may be closed."

Meghla's heart skipped a beat.

"Does that mean…?"

Arnob interrupted gently.

"I don't know yet. But whatever happens, we will face it together."

Meghla nodded slowly.

She trusted Arnob. He had always protected their family through every difficulty.

That night Meghla could not sleep.

She looked at Arnob sleeping beside her.

So many memories came back to her mind—

their first meeting, their misunderstandings, their separation, and finally their reunion.

Life had tested them many times.

But every time, love had brought them back together.

The next morning Arnob woke up very early.

He quietly got ready for work.

Before leaving, he looked at Meghla and Mithi sleeping peacefully.

A soft smile appeared on his face.

He whispered to himself,

"No matter what happens… I will protect this happiness."

Then he left for the office.

Later that morning Meghla stood alone on the balcony again.

The sky looked different today.

There was a strange feeling in her heart.

She did not know why, but it felt like something important was about to happen.

Maybe another challenge.

Maybe another turning point in their lives.

But this time Meghla was not afraid.

Because she knew something very important now—

Love is not about a perfect life.

Love is about standing together, even when life becomes difficult.

Arnob and Meghla had already crossed many storms.

And if another storm came, they would face it together again.

Because their story was not just about love.

It was about returning to each other, again and again, no matter what happened.

And that is why their story will always remind them of one truth—

"Ebhabe Fire Asha Jai."
