I've been thinking about making a fanfic about a jinchūriki for Konoha, but I can't decide which tailed beast to choose. There are some that I refuse to pick for personal reasons.
One-Tail: Shukaku – I just really like Gaara from Shippuden.
Five-Tails: Kokuō – I don't like its design.
Six-Tails: Saiken – It's amazing that Pain himself went to capture the jinchūriki (I've only watched the anime; I just started reading the manga), so I don't want to take away that moment.
Seven-Tails: Chōmei – This might sound ridiculous, but I don't like insects.
Nine-Tails: Kurama – It's simple. It's not Naruto without Naruto.
The tailed beasts I'm considering are:
Two-Tails: Matatabi – I like cats.
Three-Tails: Isobu – I like turtles.
Four-Tails: Son Gokū – I have a lot of appreciation for Dragon Ball (and my favorite color is red).
Eight-Tails: Gyūki – I could say that this one and Matatabi are the ones where I already have an idea for how Konoha could obtain the tailed beast, especially this one. In fact, if it were up to me, I'd probably choose this one.
If you're wondering, I don't hold any grudge against Kumo. Honestly, I think that even without both of its tailed beasts, it would still be stronger than Suna and Kiri. It's just that both of the tailed beasts they have are really cool.
If anyone is wondering why I didn't choose myself, it's because this is my first fanfic and I want to write it with the help and suggestions of the few people who might end up reading this. That's why I thought it would be a good idea to start by letting people choose which tailed beast the new jinchūriki of Konoha will have.
By the way, it might sound cliché, but I plan for the OC (original character) to have Uzumaki blood—a war orphan who doesn't even know he has it. I only really need it for the chakra reserves (and maybe the chakra chains) and for the hair. Did I mention that I like the color red? Jokes aside, I'll post this and see how it goes.
