Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 — The Academy Beckons

The morning of his tenth birthday arrived with crisp air and an unusual sense of ceremony. Today was the day Aseel would leave the safety of his family estate and enter the Kingsland Multi-Race Academy, the greatest institution in the world for elemental training. Humans, Angels, Jins, Elves, Dark Elves, Dwarves, and Beastmen all studied here, learning control, strategy, and cooperation.

The academy itself was a marvel of architecture and magic. Towering spires of crystal reflected the morning sun, and open courtyards were dotted with training grounds where young prodigies practiced elemental arts. Dormitories hovered on enchanted platforms, and libraries contained texts older than the oldest living Elf. Elemental dungeons tested both strength and teamwork.

Lord Rhael and Lady Elira walked with Aseel through the estate gates. Mira and Selene held his hands tightly, their faces pale with worry but eyes gleaming with pride.

"Remember," Lady Elira said softly, "no matter how strong you are, wisdom and kindness matter as much as power. Treat your friends well, and your enemies wisely."

Aseel nodded. "I understand. I will."

Upon arrival, the academy's gates opened to a bustling courtyard. Students of every race mingled:

Lyra, a human girl with striking violet eyes, studied him silently, curiosity and caution warring in her gaze. She came from a noble lineage, renowned for their magical aptitude. Despite her social status, she preferred studying quietly to showing off.Seraphina, an angel child with golden hair that glimmered faintly, hovered slightly above the ground, watching him intently. Angels in Kingsland were known for their pride and grace; her interest was piqued by this unusual child.Mara and Kaida, twins of the Beastmen race, with sleek fur and bright amber eyes, observed his calm demeanor with fascination. Beastmen rarely studied elemental control; they were naturally attuned to physical prowess and transformation, but Aseel's aura suggested he could surpass even them.

Whispers spread like wildfire: "Is that… the reincarnated king?"

No one dared approach directly, but all felt the quiet power radiating from him. Aseel, aware yet unbothered, took in the scene calmly. He recognized immediately the future challenges: rivalry, envy, and the need to prove himself once more.
