PART 1
"Hello, Daisy… hello!"
"Please, can you stop for a moment? I'd really appreciate it if you could listen to what I have to say. I know you can hear me."
Daisy slowed down and reluctantly turned around to see who was calling her name.
It was Xavier.
Just the sight of him made her sigh in frustration. Xavier was a guy she knew on campus—or rather, a guy who simply refused to leave her alone. For weeks he had been following her around, constantly trying to confess his feelings.
And today… today was the worst possible time for that.
Xavier walked closer to her, clearly determined not to be ignored again.
"Daisy, why have you been ignoring me?" he asked.
Daisy said nothing.
Her silence spoke louder than words. The irritation on her face was obvious, but the words simply refused to come out of her mouth.
Xavier continued anyway.
"Daisy, you know I like you. I mean… I really like you. No—actually, I love you."
He paused for a second before continuing.
"The moment you agree to be my girlfriend, I promise I'll give you everything you want. The best things in life. Expensive things."
He leaned in slightly, lowering his voice.
"And remember, my dad has money. He could pay your school fees. He could even make the lecturers treat you differently. Your life would be so much easier. Just say something, Daisy."
Daisy stared at him, anger slowly building in her eyes.
But Xavier kept talking.
"Daisy, I know you love me too. You're just pretending you don't. I don't know why you keep doing that, but please… just give me a chance."
Without saying a single word, Daisy turned and began to walk away.
Xavier quickly followed her and stepped in front of her, blocking her path. Every time she tried to move past him, he shifted again to stop her.
That was it.
Daisy's patience snapped.
"Xavier, what exactly is your problem?" she asked sharply.
"My problem," he replied confidently, "is that I love you, Daisy."
"Then stop loving me!" she snapped immediately. "Just stop it, okay? I don't need your love. Go give it to someone else. There are hundreds of girls on this campus—pick one of them."
Her voice became firmer.
"I don't need this distraction in my life. And if you keep harassing me like this, I will report you to the school authorities for harassment. Do you understand?"
For a moment, Xavier stood there silently.
Then he stepped aside.
Not because he was scared—but because he was tired of being rejected.
Before Daisy could walk away, he looked straight into her eyes and said coldly,
"One day you will come begging me for this love… and when that day comes, I will reject you a million times."
Daisy rolled her eyes.
"You're just being silly and stupid. Goodbye, Xavier."
She walked away, murmuring to herself in frustration.
