Two figures suddenly emerged from the chaos.

The warning came too late.
The red-haired woman stepped forward as her long crimson hair suddenly moved like a living creature. It surged outward like dozens of giant serpents, wrapping around several Kree soldiers at once.
In the next instant, the hair tightened.
Every strand became as sharp as steel.
The trapped Kree soldiers were instantly pierced through by countless strands of razor-sharp hair. Blood sprayed into the air as their bodies were riddled with holes, collapsing to the ground in lifeless heaps.
The woman's name was Medusa.
Beside her stood her younger sister.
Crystal.
The blonde woman raised both hands as elemental energy surged around her.
The ground trembled as the earth itself responded to her command. Stone and soil erupted upward, throwing several Kree soldiers off balance.
With another gesture, the nearby river suddenly surged toward them.
Water rose like a living wall before crashing down, sweeping several Kree attackers away in a violent torrent.
"Damn it!"
But the Kree were relentless.
Whoosh!
A powerful blast suddenly streaked through the air from a distant warship.
The energy beam struck Crystal directly.
"Ah!"
Her body was thrown violently backward as the blast slammed into her.
"Sister!" Medusa cried out.
But she barely had time to react.
The Kree had already deployed specialized weapons designed specifically for dealing with Inhumans.
A strange sonic device activated.
An intense wave of sound erupted across the battlefield.
The effect was immediate.
Medusa collapsed to her knees.
Her hair, which normally moved like a living weapon, suddenly lost its strength. The sonic frequency disrupted her control completely.
"Excellent abilities," a Kree commander said with cold satisfaction. "Make sure these two are captured alive."
More Kree soldiers rushed forward.
The sonic waves continued spreading through Attilan.
Many Inhumans clutched their ears in agony, unable to endure the overwhelming sound. One after another they collapsed to the ground, losing consciousness.
The Kree did not intend to slaughter them.
These were valuable experimental specimens.

But at that moment, something unexpected happened.
Two figures slowly stepped out from the shadows of the forest.
"Who's there?"
One of the Kree soldiers immediately raised his weapon.
Under the pale moonlight, the silhouettes of a man and a woman became visible.
They walked calmly out of the darkness.
"Who am I?" the man said lightly. "Why don't you take a closer look?"
The moonlight illuminated their faces.
Yun Chen.
And Carol Danvers.
The moment the Kree soldier recognized them, his face turned pale.
A terrified scream escaped his throat.
He stumbled backward and collapsed onto the ground, his body trembling uncontrollably.
"You… you…"
His finger shook as he pointed at them.
"Kryptonian Superman… Ms. Marvel…"
The reputation of those two names had already spread throughout the Kree Empire.
One was the newly risen emperor of Krypton.
The other was the empire's most infamous traitor.
Standing there in his black Kryptonian combat suit, the tall and imposing figure of Yun Chen radiated overwhelming authority.
His sharp features were calm, yet intimidating.
It was unmistakably him.

"Damn traitor…" the Kree soldier shouted angrily at Carol.
He never finished the sentence.

A red flash cut through the night.

The Kree soldier's head vanished instantly.
The beam of heat vision pierced straight through his skull, vaporizing it completely.
Yun Chen lowered his gaze slightly, the faint red glow fading from his eyes.
"Who allowed you to speak to my woman like that?" he said coldly.
Carol inhaled slowly.
Her eyes burned with murderous intent.
She was human.
She was not the weapon the Kree Empire had tried to turn her into.
And she would never again serve them.
"Let's do this together," Yun Chen said calmly.
Carol nodded.
Meanwhile, inside the shattered streets of Attilan, Medusa knelt weakly on the ground.
The sonic attack had nearly destroyed her ability to control her hair. Her entire body trembled as she struggled even to remain conscious.
Crystal's condition was worse.
The earlier blast had left a deep wound in her abdomen. Blood slowly soaked the ground beneath her.
She was barely breathing.
"Pathetic Inhumans," one Kree soldier sneered.
Medusa tried to rise again.
The soldier responded by swinging the butt of his rifle.
Bang!
The blow smashed into her shoulder and knocked her back onto the ground.
Her vision blurred.
A single thought echoed weakly in her mind.
Is anyone going to save us…?
BOOM!
A thunderous explosion suddenly echoed across Attilan.
The ground itself cracked open as a massive crater appeared in the center of the battlefield.
The sonic weapon platform that had been suppressing the Inhumans was completely destroyed.
Standing in the middle of the crater was a tall figure dressed in black.
"What the hell…?"
"Who is that?!"
The Kree soldiers turned around in shock.
Then one of them screamed.
"It's Superman!"
Fear spread instantly through the Kree ranks.
The earlier soldier's terrified reaction had not been exaggerated.
The name Superman had already become synonymous with terror among the Kree.
For them, he was nothing less than a nightmare.
Medusa slowly opened her eyes.
Through her blurred vision, she saw the figure standing at the center of the battlefield.
The man who had descended from the sky.
