Chapter 1 The Weakest Creature in the Primordial World

  "Why is this happening?"

"Did I transmigrate to a fake primordial world?"

In the primeval forest, Feng Zichen was running for his life. Behind him, a ferocious beast, carrying a murderous aura, was constantly closing the distance.

"Transmigrating to the primordial world, not being a Primordial God or Demon is one thing, but how come I can't even get a Primordial foundation?" Feng Zichen complained incessantly to himself as he dodged the beast's pursuit.

Indeed, Feng Zichen was a transmigrator, a Chinese man from modern society who had come here.

Initially, upon learning that he had arrived in the primordial world, Feng Zichen was filled with excitement and anticipation. After all, this was the primordial world! Countless Primordial Treasures and rare natural treasures were everywhere, making immortality easy.

However, later, when Feng Zichen understood his own situation, a sense of despair arose in his heart.

As everyone knows, the primordial world is a world where birth determines destiny. All great supernatural beings were born as Primordial Gods or Demons, and even their disciples and followers at the very least possessed a Primordial foundation.

Feng Zichen, born into the tenth generation of the human race, was the first Acquired Realm being in the primordial world, and undoubtedly the weakest being in the primordial world.

His birth lowered the level of cultivation in the primordial world, setting a new low and letting the primordial world know that there was such a realm as the Acquired Realm.

After all, before Feng Zichen's birth, there were nine realms in the primordial world: Innate, Earth Immortal, Heavenly Immortal, Profound Immortal, Golden Immortal, Taiyi Golden Immortal, Daluo Golden Immortal, Quasi-Saint, and Saint.

After his birth, the Acquired Realm was added before the Innate Realm, making it ten realms, which can be said to have created primordial history.

Now, only a few thousand years after Nuwa became a saint, the primordial world is about to usher in its most prosperous era, which is the time when the Innate Qi is most active.

All the beings in the primordial world are either descendants of Innate Gods and Demons or created by Innate Qi, and are immersed in Innate Qi every day, so they are born at least in the Innate Realm.

Humans, however, were different. They were created by Nuwa using the Three Lights Divine Water mixed with the Nine Heavens Breath Soil, and combined with her own essence and blood. They were inherently postnatal beings.

However, the Three Lights Divine Water, the Nine Heavens Breath Soil, and Nuwa's essence and blood were all innate sacred objects. The first generation of humans, created by the combination of these three, though born later, belonged to the innate realm and were not classified as postnatal beings.

Unfortunately, Nuwa's legacy ended after nine generations.

After becoming a saint, Nuwa was in a hurry to create a vast world beyond the heavens, leaving the newly born humans on the shores of the East Sea before departing.

At the beginning of their lives, apart from the generation personally created by Nuwa, the rest of the humans were unintelligent, ignorant, and acted only according to instinct.

The shores of the East Sea were vast and rich in resources. The humans lived there, drinking from mountain springs when thirsty and eating wild fruits when hungry, without worrying about livelihood, spending their days idly.

Driven by instinct, a group of primitive people began production in broad daylight. Thus, the second generation of humans was born. As if history were repeating itself, the second generation began the life of the first, and so did the third, fourth, and subsequent generations. This

continued until the Ziyi clan covered themselves with leaves and used animal skins for warmth; the Youchao clan built nests of wood; and the Suiren clan invented fire by drilling wood. Humanity's intelligence awakened, and they began to feel shame, ending this way of life.

However, after nine generations, the innate energy within the human race was exhausted. With the birth of the tenth generation, specifically after Feng Zichen's birth, it was completely transformed into acquired energy.

From then on, humanity no longer possessed an innate body.

Having gained intelligence, humanity faced a new problem: how would so many people survive?

In the primordial world, the strong preyed on the weak, and might made right. Humanity was numerous but weak, naturally becoming prey for other races, resulting in countless deaths and injuries.     Feng Zichen, while searching for food, was unfortunately targeted by a ferocious beast. As the weakest creature in the primordial world, he was naturally no match for this beast at the Innate Realm, hence the earlier scene.

The beast roared, tired of the cat-and-mouse game, and suddenly accelerated, pouncing on Feng Zichen.

At this moment, Feng Zichen was tripped by a protruding rock on the ground and fell to the ground. The beast leaped over him and crashed into a tree.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Feng Zichen quickly got up, took out two sparking stones, and hurled them at the beast.

These two stones contained the power of merit and were quite extraordinary; in just a few blows, the beast was killed.

After kicking the beast's corpse a few times in satisfaction, Feng Zichen carried the body and strode back to the human tribe.

Suirenshi invented fire by drilling wood, igniting the flame of civilization and the flame of inheritance for humankind, creating the first surname of humankind—Feng—and establishing the Suiren tribe.

"Zi Chen, are you injured?" Before Feng Zi Chen even returned to the tribe, Sui Ren Shi appeared before him, asking with concern.

"Greetings, Emperor Sui." Upon seeing Sui Ren Shi, Feng Zi Chen quickly put down the beast's corpse and bowed. "I'm fine."

"Didn't I say your food is provided by the tribe? Why did you still go out hunting? What if you encountered danger?" Sui Ren Shi pointed to the beast's corpse, somewhat puzzled.

"Don't worry, Emperor Sui. I was born with great fortune and have merit protecting me. I can turn misfortune into good fortune. I will be fine." Feng Zi Chen's voice was full of confidence.

This wasn't boasting; he truly possessed great fortune. His sudden fall today was due to this fortune at work.

Feng Zi Chen's birth added a realm to the world—the Acquired Realm.

Therefore, at his birth, the world changed color, the laws roared, the Daoist sounds were endless, and golden flowers fell. It was the Heavenly Dao sensing the birth of a new realm, further perfecting the world, and bestowing upon him the Xuanhuang Merit.

In the future, whenever someone reaches the Acquired Realm, he will receive a share of this fortune.

It was precisely because of the terrifying commotion at his birth that Suirenshi believed Feng Zichen was a born saint, destined to lead humanity to prosperity. Therefore, he took Feng Zichen under his wing and personally taught him.

Otherwise, Feng Zichen would have died long ago. It should be known that many ten generations of humans were born after him, but all died young due to weak constitutions.

Furthermore, to maintain his image as a born saint, Feng Zichen invented the method of starting fires with flint, thus gaining some merit from heaven and earth.

The two merit flints came from this.

"Nonsense! There are many people in the world with merit and fortune, but how many survive to the end?" Seeing his behavior, Suirenshi couldn't help but say in a deep voice, "If you rely on your merit to protect you and venture into danger everywhere, you'll

end up like them sooner or later." Sensing Suirenshi's anger, Feng Zichen dared not continue his frivolous act and quickly promised, "Don't worry, Emperor Suirenshi, I will never run away again."

Suirenshi nodded in satisfaction and pulled him towards the tribe.

Over the years, Feng Zichen's performance has increasingly convinced him that Feng Zichen was sent by Heaven to bring prosperity to the human race. Therefore, he has become increasingly concerned about Feng Zichen's safety.
