She silently looks outside the window thinking about everything that had just happened in her life... Firstly her boyfriend broke up with her and got into an accident and now her mom had revealed something big to her. She hadn't noticed that the teacher walked up to her desk and tapped a ruler on her table and she snapped out of her thoughts.
"Yumi this is the third time today, i'd like for you to please pay attention". Mr kashino said then she said "okay". And he carried on with the lesson.
It was lunch time and Yumi was still occupied with her thoughts then one of her friends tapped her and said "girl what's been going on with you lately". "How do you mean". Yumi asked not understanding. "You've been spacing out a lot today". The girl said worried but Yumi still wasn't paying attention so the girl left then her bestie came and said "are you not hungry Yumi". Yumi retuned back to reality and stood up and said "I'm hungry let's go eat". They went to the cafeteria and sat down on some chairs and Yumi began eating like her life depended on it. The most hottest guy in their class had just walked by and everyone began gossiping about his looks then he walked to their table and said "was tatsuki in class today". "No he's in the hospital". Her friend said and then he left. "Girl aren't you worried about him". Her friend asked then she said "I am, I think". Yumi said knowing well that she wasn't worried about him.
They all returned back to their classroom and then their teacher walked in and said "we'll be changing seats today but first roll call". She began calling people's names and they all said present then it came to tatsuki and Yumi said "he's absent". "Okay". The teacher said then she began changing people's seats and Yumi ended up with.... Her best friend. Just as she sat down kumiko( her best friend) said " yay we finally get to sit together and guess what". She asked Yumi and Yumi replied saying "what". "Yuji is behind us". Kumiko said and Yumi looked back and saw yuji's head on his desk sleeping.
"I hope everyone is okay with their seat partner". The teacher said and then some of the students complained while some where satisfied so then the lesson began and everyone went silent. Minutes later the lesson has ended and everyone began packing their bags and going home. Kumiko asked Yumi whether she was going to visit tatsuki and she said yes so kumiko left. Yumi stood outside the gate then went to the hospital.
At the hospital, people where running around, parents were with their kids. Yumi walked straight into tatsuki's room but once she stepped in she saw Yuji sitting beside tatsuki and was talking to him. "Hey". She said and both of them turned to look at her then tatsuki said "what are you doing here". Yumi looked at him and smiled "I came to see how your doing.... Um the doctor told me that you'd be discharged tomorrow". "Yeah so". Tatsuki said with a cold expression. "I'll leave". Yumi said as she walked out of his room. Yuji looked at the closed door then turned to look at Tatsuki then said "you didn't have to be so harsh afterall she was the one who took care of you". "But it's because of her that I'm here so she should be responsible". Tatsuki said with a frown wondering why he {Yuji} was taking her side. "No one is responsible, you shouldn't have left her cause she really loved you but you dumped her for a brat". Yuji said with a disappointed look.
Yumi walked home with tears in her eyes and when she reached her door she fell to the floor then her mom had opened the door and hugged her daughter as they both cried. "Mom i don't want to be cursed". Yumi said her sobs almost choking her. "I'm sorry". Her mom said trying to comfort her daughter. After a while Yumi was sleeping and she was having a dream, a dream.... she could hear her parents shouting at each other, her dad hitting her mom and she saw everything then her dad left....and never came back then someone had told her mom that he was found dead in a bar so just like that her life turned upside down. She woke up in a cold sweat and saw her mom beside her then she stood up and took a shower then got dressed and left for school.
