This is your trick, you feared Thanos and infinity stones along with those sentinels. That's why you installed some alien technology you brought that will dissiapte the pure cosmic power and absorb here. You bought this using Guardians of Galaxy after making a deal with them ]
[ But this technology can't hold the mad titan or the infinity stones. He quickly disamantled all defences. You tried fighting him with alien technology but failed as it's not match for the infinity stones and thanos punched you making a big hole in your abdomen. You looked at Emma and said," sorry love, i wasn't strong enough. i couldn't protect you ". ]
[ Thanos threw you away like trash, at your last breaths you saw Emma's death and the reveal of lady death who is furious on Thanos. She wanted to secure your soul but your soul fragment is retrieved back immediately though your soul fragment has been long passively marked by lady death after your marriage ]
