Ishida and Rumi unravel a plan to escape the Battle Royal Death Match before sundown but when they plan to leave they run into Nagama. After a slight scuffle Nagama reveals to the duo that their leader Ajax is dead.
Ishida groans as he tries to press his foot forward.
"That's a load of crap and you know it. I've watched Ajax defeat someone who was way more troublesome than you so shut your mouth already." He snarls.
"Oh such a temper. I can see why the loudmouth wanted you in his group." Nagama says pushing Ishida off of him, sending him sliding.
"Ajax. Dammit that idiot didn't we tell him not to fight Nagama? Why would he not listen?" Rumi says to herself.
"Well my offer still stands. If you dare try to hurt Rumi I'll kill you myself." Ishida says, pushing himself back up.
"Oh what a chivalrist you are. But I already told you I have zero intentions in killing you. You won't make it without your leader anyways." Nagama says, slightly stepping back.
"Yeah you heard master Nagama." Poka follows up.
"Damn, pick me. Just blah on about your stupid master." Ishida retorts.
"Why you." Poka snarls before Nagama stops him.
"I told you we're done here. Until next time. If there even is a next time." Nagama says, waving as he and Poka walk away.
"Bastards." Ishida snarls his hands in fists.
"Ishida just leave it be. There's no point in chasing after him. You're clearly outmatched." Rumi sighs.
"No it doesn't matter. I have to. I can't let." Ishida mumbles before sighing himself.
"You're right. I'm not strong enough to take Nagama, let alone both of them." He admits.
"Well there goes the plan if Ajax truly is dead. Then we have no way of ending the games early. So now what?" Rumi says slumping against the house wall.
"No it won't end like this. Mister Eans didn't make me become Ajax's butler so he can die. I won't accept that response. Ajax is still alive somewhere. He has to be." Ishida says though it comes out more as him trying to will it into existence.
"Ishida, what if Ryizen's dead too? And we just don't know it yet? Then what are we gonna do?" Rumi says, still trembling.
"Stand up Rumi. We're going." Ishida says, running his hand through his hair.
"Wait what?! Where are we going?" Rumi asks.
"It's simple Nagama is out here. So clearly he's going somewhere to meet the Shogunate 9 officers who are gonna be here. That'll be our chance to escape." Ishida explains.
"Yeah but-" Rumi sputters.
"If we meet Ryizen or Ajax on the way then we'll let them know our plan. I haven't lost hope in those two yet they're still out there. Just believe in them." Ishida says, looking back at Rumi.
"Right." Rumi says swallowing before catching up with Ishida.
Meanwhile in what seems to be an abandoned barn Jwiler wipes off the remaining blood that's on his face.
"Jwiler managed to get his injuries healed, but you in the other hand. It's only the beginning for you." Jwiler says to himself as he limps over towards Ajax.
"Your Kabukimono, they need you. They won't make it on their own. You have to protect them. Yet here you are lifeless and not breathing a single breath." Jwiler says taking a deep breath.
Ajax's body doesn't move an inch, blood still pooling on some parts of his body.
"Man Nagama got you good. And it seems the weight is still on your arms. I can't lift that much especially in this condition." Jwiler sighs to himself.
Jwiler then proceeds to unsheath his sword.
"However when Nagama stabbed mea
a piece of his sword chipped off. So hopefully this will undo it. Just need to be lucky." Jwiler says as he inspects the chipped piece of metal.
Jwiler then carefully places the chipped piece of metal onto the top of his sword before stabbing Ajax in his right arm.
"Did that do it?" Jwiler thinks to himself as he tries to lift Ajax's arm.
"Nope, not at all." Jwiler says panting.
"Nagama had cut him at least over ten times. I don't remember much after the fight I had with him. But surely if I'm lucky. One cut should reduce the weight back to its original form. Jwiler says to himself.
Jwiler would then repeat the process. He'd stab Ajax's arm and try to lift it to see if his plan worked.
After the 12th stab jwiler went to lift Ajax's arm and this time he was able to with ease.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh my god it worked. The weights gone." Jwiler says nearly with tears of joy.
"But he's still not breathing. Shoot I didn't think of that. The weights are not crushing his heart or anything. He's genuinely blessed out." Jwiler says beginning to panic.
Jwiler then proceeds to lift Ajax and lays him on a stable floor.
"Damn damn damn what do I do? I can't just simply stab his heart if that doesn't work he's definitely dead.
But I need to kickstart his heart again. " Jwiler thinks to himself.
"Wait if I drag my sword on the ground and gain static electricity and get lucky. Maybe I'll kickstart his heart by using electricity!" Jwiler says running realizing he's probably running out of time to revive Ajax if possible.
As he said Jwiler dragged his sword on the ground before slightly cutting Ajax's chest.
Jwiler drops down and listens for a beat.
Nothing.
Jwiler does it again and once again drops down to hear a beat
Nothing.
Jwiler more desperately does it again. And practically collapses onto Ajax's chest to hear his heart beat.
Nothing.
"Dammit why? Why does this always happen to me? I should have stepped in sooner. Dammit Ajax! Why did you have to die! You idiot clearly you knew you could never beat Nagama! He works with the Shogunate for a reason they keep his bounty low for a reason for rookie Ronin like you to underestimate him so they get killed! Dammit Ajax…..why...why…..why couldn't you have just lived. DAMMIT ME AND YOUR FRIENDS NEED YOU ALIVE AJAX C'MON AJAX PLEASE OM BEGGING YOU DON'T BE DEAD PLEASE!" Jwiler says dragging his sword across the ground with all his strength before this time stabbing Ajax in the chest with his sword and collapses onto Ajax from pure exhaustion.
Nothing.
"Dammit I'm so useless." Jwiler says crying into Ajax's bloodied chest.
Jwiler stayed like this for a while before his hair suddenly gets pulled.
Jwiler immediately jerks back in a panic.
"Master Nagama I'm sorry please I'll do anything no more please!" Jwiler pleads.
"Jwiler...what the hell are you talking about?" A raspy voice says followed by a cough.
"Huh?" Jwiler says confused before looking up only to see it was Ajax's hand grabbing his hair.
"AJAX!? Y-your alive?" Jwiler says shocked.
"Yeah it seems I am. What missed me?" Ajax says, trying to smile only to wince in pain.
