"You seem rather fond of my brother." Friedrich said as they settled down.
She glanced at Theodore's receding frame in the distance.
"What do you mean?"
Friedrich cleared his throat and leaned back against the seat, stretching his legs out in front of him before crossing them at his ankles.
Eve let her eyes trail over his lean frame. What would it look like if they were to be married?
She could hardly see anything ahead of the present…
"It's just something I noticed. There is no hidden meaning behind my words."
She leaned her head against the seat and looked around the premises.
Why didn't she come out for strolls more often? After all, once it was winter, everything would be covered with snow.
