Chapter 2 - Fire and Ice

The morning sun slowly rose over the city as students began arriving at Sawyer High School.

Cars filled the parking lot and groups of students gathered outside, laughing and talking.

Suddenly, a black sports car stopped near the school entrance.

The moment the door opened, several girls gasped.

"Kayden is here!"

Kayden Sawyer stepped out of the car with his usual confident smile. His messy brown hair and sharp eyes made him the center of attention everywhere he went.

Girls whispered excitedly as he walked past them.

"He's so handsome."

"I heard he's throwing a party this weekend!"

Kayden simply smirked and waved casually before walking inside the school building.

Not far behind him, another figure entered quietly.

Jayden Sawyer.

Unlike his brother, Jayden didn't attract attention on purpose. He wore a simple black jacket and kept his hands in his pockets as he walked through the hallway.

While Kayden loved crowds, Jayden preferred silence.

He walked straight to the school garden behind the building.

The garden was peaceful. The sound of wind moving through the trees made it the perfect place to be alone.

Jayden sat on a wooden bench and pulled out his guitar.

Soft music filled the quiet garden as his fingers moved across the strings.

For a moment, everything felt calm.

But that calm didn't last long.

A familiar voice suddenly broke the silence.

"Of course you're hiding here again."

Jayden stopped playing.

Kayden walked into the garden with an amused smile on his face.

"I was actually thinking of bringing my girlfriend here tonight," Kayden said casually.

Jayden looked at him coldly.

"This place isn't your playground."

Kayden laughed.

"Oh relax, little brother. Why are you always so serious?"

Jayden stood up slowly.

"Leave."

Kayden's smile faded slightly.

"What if I don't?"

The air between them suddenly grew heavy.

Their wolf instincts reacted to each other.

Kayden raised his hand slightly.

A small flame appeared above his palm.

Jayden's eyes turned cold.

Frost began forming around his fingers.

Fire and ice.

Two completely different powers.

Two brothers who were never meant to stand on the same side.

For a moment, it looked like a fight would break out.

But Jayden suddenly turned away.

"I'm not fighting you," he said calmly.

Kayden watched as his brother walked away from the garden.

The small flame in his hand slowly disappeared.

Kayden smirked again.

"Run away again… just like always."

But deep inside, he knew something was changing between them.

And very soon…

Their rivalry would turn into something far more dangerous.
