'The Apollo Familia has made its move after all.'
Finn of the Loki Familia immediately wore an 'as expected' expression upon seeing that the newcomer was the Deity Apollo.
Clearly, he wasn't surprised by the Apollo Familia's arrival, but in the next second, Finn propped up his chin, sinking into thought.
"Finn, did you already know that Lord Apollo would bring people here?"
The Dwarf Gareth and the Elf Riveria looked over as well. They were Finn's longtime friends and rivals, so they naturally understood his capabilities.
Being able to become a top-tier Adventurer in Orario as a Pallum, and even earning the title of 'Braver', was enough to demonstrate Finn's extraordinary nature.
"I guessed that the Apollo Familia would show up. After all, that Deity's style of conduct in Orario is fairly well-known."
"Talents in the field of healing are extremely scarce, even for our Loki Familia. The reason the Apollo Familia came early was precisely to beat us to it..."
Finn's tone carried a hint of helplessness. This male god was clearly an outstanding Deity, yet he was quite difficult to describe in certain aspects.
When he saw a child of the Lower World he wanted, Apollo would stop at nothing to seize them.
If it weren't for the fact that Apollo knew how to read the situation and avoided provoking the major powers of Orario, his behavior would have likely brought about utter destruction long ago.
"So that's why we needed to come early?"
Riveria realized the situation. No wonder Finn had dragged both her and Gareth along; he wanted to intercept the Apollo Familia's movements and recruit Hyacine and Barbara into the Loki Familia.
"Correct, though I still miscalculated. Even though we came early, we still ran into the Apollo Familia."
"I thought the ones coming would be Hyakinthos and some Level 2 Adventurers, but instead, Lord Apollo himself came in person..."
"It seems that Deity truly places great importance on these two healers..."
Regardless of how a Deity's life was going, even if they were picking through trash, mortals had to maintain basic respect.
You could ignore those Deities, but you absolutely could not insult them.
If mortals wanted to deal with a Deity, there were only two ways. One was to remain silent so the other party couldn't glean any information. The other was to find another Deity.
So upon seeing Lord Apollo's arrival, Finn realized that Apollo was playing for keeps!
"Then... do we need to step in?"
If the Loki Familia, one of the Two Walls of Orario, wanted to take these two girls under their wing, Apollo absolutely could not refuse—otherwise, what awaited him would be total ruin.
"Loki hasn't arrived yet. Let's see how things play out first."
Finn shook his head. While they could handle the Apollo Familia, they clearly couldn't lay a hand on Apollo himself; doing so might end up causing trouble instead.
To be safe, Finn chose to stay put, but he then fixed his gaze on the two girls in the center of the crowd.
"And looking at their expressions, I have reason to believe that the current situation is still within their expectations. It might even be exactly what they wanted..."
As soon as these words were spoken, both Gareth and Riveria were taken aback, looking at Hyacine and Barbara with disbelief.
"You mean they purposefully appeared as healers to attract people to attack them? Do they actually have the means to fight back?"
Facing his colleagues' questions, Finn could only smile helplessly. "I don't know everything. I can only trust that they have such means..."
"I hope everything goes smoothly!"
Back in the center of the plaza, the Deity Apollo led his Familia, closing in step by step toward the frail girls.
"It's exactly as I expected; I feel a familiar sensation from you..."
"Ah~ ah~"
"Splendid! I have to strike quickly before those troublesome fellows show up! Once I have you, you're mine!"
Even in the middle of a crowd, Apollo made no effort to hide his other side.
Some people naturally felt disgusted, as did Hyacine and Barbara, who even took a large step back. A segment of the surrounding Adventurers also wore speechless expressions.
'This is Lord Apollo for you! Not hiding his desires at all!'
However, those standing behind Apollo showed no expression whatsoever. After all, they already knew what kind of person their master was, so there was nothing left to be embarrassed about.
"Go on, remember not to hurt these two lovely little things!"
"Understood, Lord Apollo!"
Facing the encirclement of multiple Adventurers, including some at Level 2 and Level 3, almost everyone present felt that Hyacine and Barbara were doomed.
The Apollo Familia might not be the top Familia in Orario, but they were a mainstay force nonetheless. They clearly weren't someone two newcomers could handle, especially since they were healers.
It could only be said that the people here had too heavy a stereotype of healers; they never imagined there was such a thing as a 'battle medic' in this world.
"Are you really going to attack us?"
"Even though we only wanted to heal the wounded and rescue the dying..."
Watching Hyakinthos and the others constantly approach them, the two girls huddled together tremblingly, looking as powerless as frail little animals.
The surrounding Adventurers felt a bit of pity, but facing the aggressive Apollo Familia, no one dared to say a word. They could only remain silent.
This was reality.
Even if you had saved others, it was very difficult for them to offend someone more powerful for your sake. It was simply beyond their limit, and a single mistake could lead to total annihilation.
"Healing the wounded and rescuing the dying is indeed a beautiful wish!"
Apollo did not let the two girls go just because they showed a weak posture; instead, he spoke words of appreciation to himself.
"With your abilities, you could heal the wounded anywhere... but wouldn't you have more resources within a large Familia?"
"My Familia has the power to realize your wish and help you heal the wounded!"
"So, come and become mine!"
Hearing this sentence, everyone gave up hope.
The Adventurers knew Apollo's resolve; he would absolutely not let these two little lambs go.
And Hyacine and Barbara felt the same. If they didn't deal with this disgusting male god in front of them, the trouble would likely only keep growing...
"If we want to realize our wish, we must break through the haze before us..."
Hyacine's gaze suddenly changed. For a fleeting moment, her pupils turned into rainbow-colored concentric circles.
Although the girl quickly suppressed it and returned to normal, the aura on her body had completely transformed, bearing a style strikingly different from the girl just now.
If one had to use a single term to describe her... a 'Valkyrie'?
Seeing this, Barbara's expression seemed to dim slightly, but she soon pulled herself together and returned to her sunny girl persona.
"Though I'm not as good as Hyacie in terms of offense, I'll work hard not to hold us back!"
Hyacine and Barbara were, in the end, just two girls who wanted to heal the wounded, yet Apollo intended to destroy their intentions...
This was absolutely unforgivable!
Apollo, didn't you hear us?
We want to heal the wounded!
