Everywhere went black as he heard the voice of a woman screaming at someone. He tried to recognize the person's voice but, he knew not who the person was. "Wait did I just think in old timey English." He thought to himself. Then he remembered what had just happened "wait why am I here where am I anyway" it was then that his eyes drifted open to see a woman with long silver hair, dazzling violet eyes, with an angry expression on her face."You insolent brat how dare you break my precious vase." He looked at her puzzled then the words "but I don't know anything about your vase." As he looked at the fuming beauty before him he felt a cold arm grasp his wrist and was pulled aside by a boy who looked a few years older than him with blue eyes, the same silver hair and wearing a purple Hoodie. "Why did you knock off mum's vase from the cabinet, you know how much she loves that vase it was the last gift given to her by her aunt, or so she says." "Seriously, I have no idea what you're talking about." The older boy looked puzzled and then sighed" you always were a tough nut to crack, just don't do it again or else mum's gonna clobber you again." "Okay," he gulped at the thought of being clobbered by someone who was supposed to be his mother, "wait did he just say AGAIN" he thought to himself. A few weeks had passed and he knew more about his family, and this new world. The name of the planet was also called earth but it was way more technologically advanced. His mother a huge contrast to his other mother is a hot head who apparently hates him for some reason that he does not know. His father was rarely home, he himself had only seen him once since he got there. His dad has black hair and red eyes. His siblings Liam and Liana were both what he liked to call over achievers. His older brother Liam was a straight A student and an athlete. His younger sister Liana was in her final year of middle school and already had three junior Olympics trophies. His name was Luke Onsworth he was a year below Liam in school and had no trophies, was never the top scorer, wasn't an athlete, besides that he was considered the ugliest among all of them not just because nobody liked him but because he had two colors of hair black from his dad and silver from his mum, with crimson gleaming eyes. In school he was noticed which he enjoyed at first but then after a week he hated it cause, he found out he was popular for all the wrong reasons. People always laughed at him behind his back, calling him the "half and half bastard". He had only one friend who was Andrew. He was also bullied just because he had a rare sleeping disorder. The system of their education was more complex than usual, you were to graduate from high school and then you receive an invite to an awakener college. Awakeners are people who awaken special abilities to help fight against shades which are monsters that terrorize the earth. They are often described as shadowy figures of animals or even humans. At the end of high school, a graduation ceremony is held to honour their students leaving to pursue their dreams as hunters. At the graduation ceremony they are given a talent when their palm is placed on a black gleaming orb. Once given their talent, their diploma is also handed to them in turn. The talents that are given to them can vary. Some might be given the talent of speed, while another can be given that of strength.
