She lay sprawled in bed eyes closed still in her outfit didn't feel like changing into her pjs. Anyone opening her door would mistake her for being asleep but her Amber green eyes were wide open staring at the roof as if looking into something that only she can see. It was almost 3a.m and she had to be at work at 8a.m. This would be her second night staying up and having to be ready early in the morning for work. Something was in her mind and it was eating her up.She didn't know who to tell not even her therapist they'd think she's loosing it again. She didn't want to go back not again

"You okay Santana you've been quiet ?"
"I'm okay,just thinking of something."
"Mind sharing with me you know we can't keep secrets "
"Hmmmmm...I don't think I can share just yet."
Her best friend nodded and left. Santana could see the pain in her eyes as she turned away from her but, she couldn't tell her not yet.
Time seemed to stop and the day was too quiet making her thoughts even louder. She had an appointment with her therapist which she couldn't cancel like the other three times. She completed her task early and was preparing to leave when her boss Jeremy just happened to remember her.He had been flirting with her for months. But everybody knows having a relationship with your fellow worker can end in drama so her boss was trying to make her job even more ungodly.
"Santana so what did you think of my proposal?"
"It didn't change sir the same as the one I gave you last time."
She said it in the sweetest and with her best smile after all she didn't wanna loose this job. Jeremy tried to feign a smile but the rejection was gnawing at his ego.
"You promised you'd think about it."he said it abit strained his voice cracking
"And I did but honestly sir it just can't work."
"Why not?"
"You have a wife and daughter sir."
"But I'm in love with you not her"
"You're married to her and she is a kind soul she's been nothing but good to you sir"
Santana was on the verge of tears now.
"If you'll excuse me sir I have an appointment with my therapist "
She gets her blazer and scarf and leaves Jeremy rubs his temples with his

"Have a seat my lovely ,you've been skipping therapy sessions."
"Sorry Lisa I've been held up with my move to the new house. "
"You could have called you know,I'm like your mother."
"I'm sorry. "
"It's okay dear now can you explain why you're hiding those dark circles with heavy makeup?"
Santana chuckled ofcourse Lisa would notice
"I haven't been sleeping lately."
"Something bothering you?"
"Noo...hehe.. I'm okay just working taking work home."
She smiled,"You were never good at lying you know ,your nose turns pink and you lashes flutter ten times faster "
She covered her face with her hands.
"I'm thinking of getting a dog ."
Lisa smiled ,"Intresting what changed your mind about pets?"
"The new house is kinda big and dull maybe a puppy will make it lively."
"I love the idea."
Lisa licked her lips while staring at Santana she could tell something was bugging but she didn't want to crack and she couldn't force her . They chatted for a while before Santana had to leave
