"Leone, be careful of honey traps," Duncan commented from the side. "Also, be careful of what you eat when you visit other tribes. These two might not do it, but I won't put it past them to add something that might cloud your judgment to your food and drinks."
"Nonsense!" Garen scoffed. "Who do you think I am? Oswald might do it, but not me. I will never do that to Leone."
"You bastard! Are you implying that I'll do such a lowly thing?!" Oswald snorted. "Don't listen to him, Leone. This guy cannot be trusted."
The young man chuckled at those words. He found the friendly banter between the chieftains of the middle-ranked tribes quite amusing.
In fact, Duncan, Oswald, and Garen didn't really get along very well. If anything, the three of them were rivals.
However, after spending time with Leone, they had to admit that the rivalry they had held for each other over the years was slowly turning into a special kind of friendship.
