Yet, because of this ruler's principles, peace spread throughout the kingdom-out of fear of his wrath and unforgiving punishment.
Claude had no friends, except for one. Only one person he trusted completely: Wilcestone, the second-in-command, the man responsible for making decisions after the king.
Days passed, and Claude married a lady named Marie, daughter of the ruler of a neighboring kingdom. Together, they had three sons and one daughter named Miral-the closest to her father's heart.
