After speaking with Lith for a few more moments, Vastor turned toward Ash.

"And what about you, Healer Boy?" he asked with a grin.

Ash stood up calmly.

"My name is Ash. I'm from Lusar Village, and I'm twelve years old."

Ash simply said but Vastor added " and he is also someone who scored the highest points in this year Admission test" he said as Ash also looked at him.

"Unlike Lith, Ash didn't solve a kingdom-famous curse."

"But in terms of pure talent, the academy's evaluation board placed him at the very top of this year's admissions."

Ash blinked.

"Wait. They did?"

The surprise on his face was genuine.

He had known he performed well during the exam.

He just hadn't realized the academy thought that highly of him.

Vastor chuckled.

"You didn't know?"

Ash shook his head.

"No."

"Well, now you do."

The old healer pointed at him.

"According to the examiners, your magical control, healing aptitude, multi-casting ability, and overall potential were among the best they have seen in years."

"Some of them even argued over which of you two was more talented."

Vastor pointed first at Ash and then at Lith.

"Personally, I don't care."

"Talent only matters if you develop it."

"Plenty of geniuses become idiots by relying on talent alone."

Several students awkwardly looked away.

The statement felt directed at more than a few people in the room.

Vastor then smiled.

"Still, it is nice seeing two exceptional students entering the academy in the same year."

Lith frowned slightly.

Ash simply shrugged.

Neither seemed particularly interested in competing over titles.

Meanwhile, the rest of the class looked at the two boys with newfound respect.

One had solved a poison that baffled master healers.

The other had entered the academy as the highest-rated student of the year.

Even among White Griffon Academy's talented students, they clearly stood out.

And almost everyone one was regretting as they have offended both of them from the start the only difference was while Lith solved using the ballot ball that recorded bullying and have others expelled Ash best the shit out of everyone while healing them too to not leave any evidence against him.

Quylla was regretting what had happened earlier, but for reasons different from the others.

Unlike Friya and Yurial, she hadn't mocked either Lith or Ash.

However, she hadn't helped them either.

Like most of the class, she had simply kept her distance.

Looking back, she realized that if she had known they were commoners like her, she probably would have tried to befriend them.

Instead, she had mistaken both of them for nobles.

Lith was tall, intimidating, and carried himself with confidence.

Ash, on the other hand, possessed a level of skill and knowledge that made him seem far beyond an ordinary village boy.

Combined with how nervous she had been around her new classmates, Quylla had never even considered approaching either of them.

"Well, enough with the introductions and rounds."

Vastor clapped his hands.

"I've already seen what I needed to see."

A few students sighed in relief.

"Now let me show you where the real healing magic happens."

He led the class through several corridors before stopping in front of another ward.

The plaque above the entrance was self-explanatory.

Missing Limbs

"As you should have already realized," Vastor said while opening the door, "this is where we move patients who have lost one or more limbs after stabilizing their condition."

The students immediately became interested.

"We can regrow limbs from scratch," Vastor continued.

"But the process is long, difficult, and requires advanced healing magic."

"Follow me."

The ward was surprisingly quiet.

Unlike the Intensive Care Unit, only a few beds were occupied.

The atmosphere was warm and relaxing.

Fresh flowers decorated the room.

Several enchanted paintings hung on the walls.

The walls themselves were covered in magical frescoes depicting sunny forests and peaceful landscapes so vivid they almost looked real.

The soothing environment made it difficult to believe the patients here had suffered such serious injuries.

Vastor guided the students toward one of the occupied beds.

A blond man in his twenties sat there.

His right arm was missing.

Only a short stump remained.

"Students," Vastor said, "allow me to introduce Captain Zarran."

The soldier gave the class an awkward wave.

"He lost his arm during a skirmish against the Gorgon Empire while defending the northern borders of our kingdom."

Several students immediately straightened their backs.

A few even looked at him with admiration.

Captain Zarran, however, looked uncomfortable.

Unlike many patients in the ICU, he was fully awake and perfectly aware of his surroundings.

Even though the students greeted him politely, he couldn't help feeling like an animal being displayed for inspection.

As if he were a horse at a market waiting to be examined from every angle.

The embarrassed expression on his face made several students smile awkwardly.

Ash simply nodded politely, while Lith remained silent as usual.

Suddenly, the ward's double doors opened once again.

The man who entered immediately drew the attention of everyone present.

Doctors paused their work.

Nurses straightened their backs.

Several students gasped in admiration.

Even Captain Zarran looked surprised by the man's arrival.

Ash glanced toward the newcomer and immediately sensed the immense amount of mana within him.

His mana core was Bright Blue.

Far beyond anything Ash had seen before.

'That's a powerful healer,' Ash thought.

Inside his mind, Raphael quietly agreed.

The man appeared to be in his late forties.

He wore simple healer robes and carried himself with calm confidence.

There was nothing flashy about him, yet his presence alone commanded respect.

The staff members' reactions made it obvious who he was.

"Professor Marth."

Vastor immediately greeted him with a broad smile.

"So nice to see you."

Professor Marth nodded politely.

"Vastor."

"I was just about to explain the limb regrowth procedure to the fourth-year students," Vastor continued.

He gestured toward the gathered class.

Then he pointed at Ash and added,

"And this is Ash from Lusar Village. He told me that he can regrow limbs."

Professor Marth frowned as he looked at Ash's calm expression.

"Kid, I know you're eager to gain fame, but you shouldn't lie."

Vastor immediately shook his head.

"Do you think I have no eyes? I've observed him carefully. From what I've seen so far, he might actually be able to regrow limbs."

Marth looked at Vastor for a moment before nodding.

"Fine."

He turned toward Ash.

"If you can do it, I'll award you one thousand academy points."
