Days passed.
The news of Ram's disappearance spread slowly.
Everyone believed he might have died during the mission in Kashmir.
But Sita refused to believe it.
One evening she sat alone in the temple where she first met Ram.
The bells rang softly as she closed her eyes.
"I know you're alive," she whispered.
Just then her advisor approached her again.
"Princess Noor Jahan," he said seriously.
Sita looked at him.
"You must return to your family. This situation is becoming dangerous."
But Sita shook her head firmly.
"I won't leave."
"You don't understand," the advisor said.
"If the world discovers your connection with an Indian soldier, it could create serious political problems between India and Pakistan."
Sita stood up slowly.
"I don't care about politics," she replied quietly.
"I care about Ram."
For the first time, she made a decision.
If Ram was alive somewhere…
She would find him
